Dragon Spirit Martial Arts is entering a new chapter with a new vision and a sharper focus.

Our main style remains Taekwondo, but our training focus is shifting toward competition team development, national-level preparation, and open martial arts tournament competition. We welcome students of all ages, ranks, schools, and martial arts backgrounds who are interested in training seriously and working toward elite competition goals.

Our current goal is to build a team preparing for AAU Taekwondo Nationals in 2027 while also supporting athletes who want to compete at open martial arts tournaments.

🚨 AAU TAEKWONDO COACHING CLARIFICATION 🚨

As we approach qualifying season and prepare for what will be the best AAU Nationals yet, AAU Taekwondo wants to be as transparent and clear as possible regarding coaching credentials.

AAU Taekwondo now offers both Level 1 and Level 2 Coaching Certifications.
✅ Both Level 1 and Level 2 coaches retain full coaching rights, including:
• The ability to Coach
• The right to issue challenges
• The ability to submit protests when applicable

The difference between Level 1 and Level 2 reflects experience, education, and pathway to national staff eligibility not basic coaching authority at events. They will wear a new Black Coaching polo to show the difference between coaches.

We encourage all coaches to review the requirements and choose the level that best fits their role and goals. Thank you for helping us uphold professionalism, fairness, and consistency across all AAU Taekwondo events as we move forward together.

Mr. Matt Rosburg has been selected to attend the United States Martial Artist Association (USMAA) Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in July 2026, where he will proudly represent Dragon Spirit Martial Arts.
