Among his many accomplishments, the 6-foot-3 guard from Pine Ridge School set the single-game state scoring record for points in a game at 73 this season, breaking a mark that had stood since 1952. Alyvia Padgett is a two-time nominee for SD All-Star player of the year. The 5-foot-8 guard scored 40 points for Brandon Valley High School Girls Basketball in the season opener and didn't look back. She set the school record for career points, surpassing 1,500, and has signed with Division II power Minnesota State University Women's Basketball. She helped the Lynx reach the Class AA state title game three years in a row.

The Sanford Pentagon is the cornerstone of the Sanford Sports Complex in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It’s a 160,000-square-foot, five-sided facility featuring nine basketball courts, including the 1950s/1960s-inspired Heritage Court. The venue combines state-of-the-art amenities—including high-definition video boards and executive suites—with period-specific finishes that are a nod to the nostalgic days of basketball.

The 3,250-seat Pentagon is home to Sanford POWER Basketball Academy, Sanford POWER Volleyball Academy, the NBA G League’s Sioux Falls Skyforce, the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Women’s and Men’s Basketball tournaments and the South Dakota High School Basketball Hall of Fame.
