Ladies - Are you ready to tackle something new? We're kicking off our FIRST round of open try-outs for the 2027 season! 🏈

This Saturday - come out to Roosevelt High School, on the grassy fields just to the west side of the campus. We'll be there from 1 - 3 pm!

Bring water, tennis shoes or cleats, and plenty of attitude - zero football knowledge required.🙌🏻

Don't believe it? Just ask our players while you're here. We will tell you our stories and how playing this sport has changed us, even when we often had no experience with football beforehand. We just came with a hunger to learn, and a drive to grow - if you have that too, we'd love to meet you!! 🔥

We had a great start to America's 250th by seeing the smiling faces of Sioux Falls! 🇺🇸

If today was your first time meeting us - hello! 👋🏻

We're immensely proud and grateful to have the opportunities that we do as tackle football players. It takes a pioneering spirit to step into a sport and a space that wasn't built for us. Each player on this team took a bold step to be here, and found more strength and freedom than they imagined.

As the daylight fades and the fireworks begin tonight, we wish you safe celebrations with family, friends and plenty of fun. 🎆

If you've thought about it, this is your sign to take the leap of faith. Whether you're eager or unsure, confident or intimidated, ready or unprepared... COME OUT, give yourself that chance to prove you're capable of more than you think.

We'll be running various football drills and timing them. You can set your baseline here, and watch your speed, strength and agility progress over this season as we gear up for next year (with games starting in April 2027).

⏱️TOMORROW - take your chance!

Women of Sioux Falls and surrounding areas, if you've thought about joining our team and stepping out of your comfort zone, now is your time! While we rebuild this year and seek new players, we are hosting multiple rounds of open tryouts. Our next open tryout is TOMORROW on Sunday, 6/14!

We'll perform various drills to test your skills, including:

- 40 yd dash
- Agility drills
- Weight lifting to elevate your game

We are looking to fill ALL positions on the field, so if you have the attitude, heart and hunger, we have a spot for you! No experience or football knowledge required, our experienced coaches will get you up to speed. Come as you are, and take that first step towards empowerment and discovering what you're truly capable of.

This year is all about growth. We're looking for strong, competitive, driven women to join South Dakota’s first all female professional football team. Women ready to be bold and tackle something completely new.

Whether you've played sports your whole life, come from a household of football fans but never got the chance to play or have never stepped onto a field, this is your opportunity to push yourself, spark new self-confidence and be part of something bigger.

ALL POSITIONS AVAILABLE - NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
- All athletic backgrounds welcome
- Ages 18 and up (16 and up possible with approval)
- We’ll teach you the game with experienced coaches and teammates
- Join a supportive, empowering team environment where individual efforts combine to make greatness
- Test your limits and discover your true inner strength

Don't count yourself out because you've never played before. Drive, hunger, determination and heart can't be taught, so if you have that, you’re more than ready to step onto the field. We’ll teach you everything else you need to dominate.

This time, we'll be dialing in our defensive mentality - so, if you've had a frustrating week, come out and bring ALL the attitude! Whether you've wanted to be a linebacker, D-linemen, strong safety or don't even know yet... we'll teach you to read, react and relentlessly hunt the ball. Zero experience requried.

Rain and stormy weather in the forecast? We’re not phased. We’ll be indoors, still bringing the energy, cheering each other on over the thunder and getting after it at our OPEN TRYOUT this Sunday.

We’ll be running drills, lifting weights, and establishing baseline measurements so you can track your growth and progress heading into next season. If you've been waiting for the right time to jump in, this is your moment.

We will be holding MORE open practice events for the month of May, so look out! If you're thinking about joining, this is a great year to get involved!
