This week's features are here! At the Grill, a Chicken Salad Croissant with leaf lettuce, toasted almonds and your choice of one grill side, $14, alongside our Hot Turkey Sandwich served open-faced on grilled sourdough with a layer of herb stuffing, Yukon mashed potatoes, fire-braised turkey and turkey gravy, $16.

In the 1908 Dining Room, Jägerschnitzel — a breaded pork cutlet with buttered spaetzle, warm braised cabbage and fennel slaw, topped with savory mushroom bacon gravy, including your choice of soup or small salad, $22.

And save room for dessert — Italian Espresso Gelato, Apple Rhubarb Empanadas with vanilla ice cream and white chocolate sauce, and a Guinness Chocolate Cake with Bailey's buttercream in the Dining Room, plus Chocolate Chip Cookie Bites at the Grill.

Every level is welcome in the studio! Cardio & Core meets every Monday at 9:30 AM and Strength Training every Thursday at 6:00 PM, and both are beginner friendly — no experience needed. Add HIIT on Saturday, September 19 at 8:00 AM and Gentle Stretch & Stillness on Sunday, September 20 at 6:00 PM to your calendar as well.

New on the Whoosh App! Starting this month, you can now view and sign-up for all fitness classes directly in the Whoosh App. Since you already use Whoosh for tee times and club events, booking your favorite workout is also now just a couple taps away!

We are encouraging everyone to use Whoosh for reserving your spot(s) for upcoming classes and events so we can prepare the best experience for you.

One last poolside hurrah before the season turns! September brings the Labor Day Celebration poolside on Monday the 7th, Mahjong Night debuts Tuesday, September 8th, Game Day Specials for Iowa vs. Iowa State on Saturday the 12th, Klinker Brick Wine Dinner on Wednesday the 16th, Family Trivia Night at The Grill on Wednesday the 23rd, and Prime Rib Night on Friday the 25th. And don't forget our golf events — Men's Stag Golf on Wednesday, September 9, and Glow Ball Couples Golf, Nine & Dine, on Friday, September 18.

Dessert first this week — and we won't tell. Available at both the Grill and in the 1908 Dining Room: a Chocolate Cobbler, warm and gooey with a soft, cake-like topping, rich and decadent in every bite; a Pear Pound Cake, moist and buttery, served with a luscious pear spread and finished with a silky white wine vanilla sauce; and a Watermelon Cheesecake, silky and balanced with vibrant watermelon flavor.

At the Grill this week, sautéed peppers, onions, okra and crawfish in a Cajun cream sauce, tossed with linguine noodles, $16. And in the 1908 Dining Room, a beef and cheese stuffed poblano pepper with Spanish rice, including your choice of soup or small salad, $26.

In the 1908 Dining Room, lobster claw tossed with cavatappi noodles in a Gruyère, Boursin & Parmesan cream sauce, topped with fresh chives and garlic butter-toasted panko breadcrumbs — includes your choice of soup or small salad, $32. Over at the Grill, our Asian Sesame Salmon Noodle Bowl features salmon glazed in Asian sesame sauce with rice noodles, cabbage, broccoli, bell peppers, shredded carrots, mushrooms and scallions, topped with cashews, $20.
