The Logan Valley Campers will be setting up their RVs June 14 - 17 at Willow Lake in the scenic Loess Hills of southwest Iowa. Popular activities will be fishing, bicycling, exploring, potluck dinners and campfires.
This is a Tri-State camping club for couples and singles, serving northeast Nebraska, northwest Iowa and nearby South Dakota.
Look for the campers with the Logan Valley signage, if you'd like to meet and greet our friendly camping group.

Seven LoW single campers enjoyed the limestone walled Maquoketa River and peaceful camping at Backbone State Park in northeast Iowa recently.
Besides delicious meals and sizzling campfires, we enjoyed walking the Devil's Backbone trail, driving through the winding riverine valley and viewing the freshly stocked trout stream.

The Loess Hills Prairie Seminar with plenty of outdoor family friendly activities will be held this weekend at the primitive campground northeast of Onawa, Iowa. All programs are free and so is the primitive camping May 29th - 31.

The Iowa LoWs single campers will be setting up their RVs Tuesday through Thursday June 2 - 4 at Backbone State Park in northeast Iowa.

The Nebraska LoWs single campers are scheduled to begin building bonfires and making s'mores June 4th - 6th at Peters Park near Rodney, Iowa.

The Logan Valley Campers, a Tri-State camping club, will be traveling to Willow Lake June 14th - 16. The campers from Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota will enjoy potlucks, campfires, games, fishing, biking, hiking and camaraderie at the Harrison County park.

Facing tornado warnings, heavy rain and strong winds, the Logan Valley Campers found ways to have fun during the recent May campout at Hilltop Campground near Hinton Iowa.
Several of the campers rented a rustic cabin, where we held a cozy potluck supper and played cards late into the night.
The Tri-State camping group will set up their RVs next month June 14th - 17 at Willow Lake Campground, near Woodbine, Iowa.
RVers from northeast Nebraska, western Iowa and southeast South Dakota are invited to stop by and meet our friendly campers.

Bring your e-bikes, we can check out the new Plywood bicycle trail between Hinton and Sioux City.

The Logan Valley Campers will be setting up their RVs next week May 17th - 20 at Hilltop Campground near Hinton, Iowa. RVers are welcome to come and meet our happy and friendly campers during the mild spring seating.

Plenty of recreational activities are available during the LoW spring Iowa-Nebraska Bi-State campout at Green Valley State Park on May 5 - 8.
There is a paved 8 Mile bike path from the campground to the
nearby town of Creston, Iowa.
The town features a list of attractions:
30 murals on Town buildings
Historical Depot
Art Gallery
Historical village
Mormon pioneer trail display
And a 45 minute drive will take you to the home of John Wayne and Bridges of Madison County.

All Iowa and Nebraska single campers are invited to attend. Also, Missouri LoWs are welcomed to make reservations at Green Valley State Park.

The camping clubs enjoyed warm weather, but several windy days during the first campout of the season in April at Decatur City Park campground.
The Logan Valley Campers welcomed the LoW singles at the combined event.
The potluck dinner, evening campfire and ebike riding were highlights of the campout.

Our camping clubs get going this next week, starting Sunday! The Logan Valley Campers and the LoWs singles will set up their RVs at the City Park campground in Decatur, Nebraska. Potlucks, campfires and lots of fun are planned April 19th - 22, 2026. Folks interested in meeting our happy campers are invited to stop to visit. Camping Sunday through Wednesday morning.
