Meet the newest members of WEG Ranch! 🐷🐷🤎

Yes… we literally loaded these two cuties into the backseat of my truck, covered everything in pads, and hoped for the best. 😂

And yes… you guessed it. The truck STILL needed a deep clean afterward. 🤦🏼‍♀️🐽

They’re an unrelated pair of Kunekune pigs, which means that hopefully, once they’re all grown up… BABIES!!! 🥹🐷🐷🐷

But first, we need your help AGAIN because apparently naming animals has officially become a community decision around here. 😂

I had to share this because it is TOO relatable not to. 😂

It's been HOT here on the ranch — real South Texas summer heat, you know what I'm talking about — and our girl had officially had enough. She was lying down in her favorite spot, perfectly comfortable, and I thought, "Okay, let's try her favorite treat. That'll get her up for sure."

I grabbed the cucumbers. 🥒

She looked at them. She looked at me. She put her head back down.

Absolutely zero interest in moving. Not even for cucumbers, which are basically her love language. So we did the only reasonable thing... we got down on the ground and fed her where she was. Because that's ranch life, and you just go with it. 🤷

She is honestly an inspiration. When it's this hot, you plant yourself somewhere cool and you do not move. That's wisdom right there. 🐷👑

Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in what’s next… the next project, the next goal, the next thing that needs fixing around the ranch. 😂

And then there are mornings like this.

The sun coming up, animals in the pasture and this “little” piece of Texas we get to call home. ❤️

There will always be more to do and more to dream about, but sometimes you have to stop and realize…

This is the life we once prayed for.

So incredibly thankful for Weg Ranch, the memories being made here, and every person who gets to be a little part of it. 🤎

We had the BEST time this weekend getting everything ready for the cutest little cincoañero! 🎂🎉

There's something so special about watching a blank space transform into something magical — and this one did NOT disappoint. We are so honored to be part of these precious milestone celebrations!

August was a full month and we are so grateful for every bit of it! 🐴✨

We welcomed a new horse boarding friend to The Weg Ranch family this month, and watching them settle in and feel at home has been one of those sweet reminders of why we do what we do.

We also had another round of peachicks arrive — this ranch just keeps growing in the best way!

The kids are back to school (bless all the parents out there making that transition happen!), and we are officially stepping into fall mode. 🎒

This September also holds something extra special for our family — two of our own kiddos have birthdays this month, and for the first time, we are celebrating right here at the venue. We could not be more excited to make those memories in a place that means so much to us. 🎂🎉
We are praying September brings a little cooler South Texas weather, more beautiful events, more wonderful horses, and more community. If you have been thinking about booking a fall event or finding a great home for your horse — now is the time. We would love to show you around. 🤎

We are hosting another FREE Family Day at The Weg Ranch on Saturday, October 10th — and we want YOU to be part of it! 🎉

This is going to be a full day of fun for the whole community: horse rides, a petting zoo, photo ops with the animals, and a movie showing to wrap up the evening. We are expecting families from all over the area, and we need amazing vendors to make it a day nobody forgets.

Whether you sell food, drinks, handmade goods, toys, beauty products, sourdough bread, or anything in between — there is a spot here for you. Booth fee is just $50 for the entire day (11am–5pm, with the movie crowd sticking around until about 6–7pm).

If you make it, bake it, brew it, or sell it, we want to hear from you! 🐴🛍
