One of the main questions I get about nutrition and food is: what EXACTLY is considered a protein/carb/fat food?
To make it simple, a food is considered a certain macro group based on the amount of the macronutrient that’s in it.
So look at the nutrient label, and see which of the 3 macros has the most grams, that will tell you where you should classify it.
Example: peanut butter is a fat. Yes it has protein (and often advertised as a protein snack), but because it has more fat in it, and is much higher calories it’s a poor quality source of peanut butter.
This quick guide is only a few different foods, but they’re all good quality sources for each of the macros, as well as ones that crossover between macros
Use this as a guide when you’re figuring out what to eat, and remember to always look at the calories not just the macros.

Building biceps isn’t gonna help your running, doing extra sprints after practice isn’t going to make you a better leader for your team, and crushing that workout won’t necessarily improve your self image & confidence.
But improving your mindset will take care of EVERYTHING
You need to train your mindset to help you really improve in all other aspects of fitness, sport, & life
And it isn’t as difficult as you may think:
🔹eliminate ALL negative self talk & thoughts
🔹set small, productive goals daily & knock them out
🔹make time for yourself to clear your head & be present
🔹ask yourself “what would the best version of me do/say/think in this situation?” And do that thing EVERY time

A big reason people jump from program to program, or feel frustrated that what they’re doing isn’t working is because they stopped too early
Progress is never as fast as we want, and it isn’t linear, but if you stay consistent and keep putting in the work then you WILL get results
Keep that in mind and let’s have a great week team💪
