‼️This is why mechanics matter so much‼️

This lesson, we were working solely on lower body.

On the left: Student wasn’t distributing weight towards her back leg, which was causing her to lunge in her swing and be off balance in general.

On the right: Loading her weight in her back leg and then driving that power forward with the hips leads to more power and drive on the ball. Also, notice how much more straight this keeps her back on her swing.

You can see the difference in the different arrows that I’ve placed for illustration purposes.

Hi everyone, I wanted to introduce myself. I am Tyler Holbrook and I have been in the softball world for several year, currently coaching for Mauldin High School.
