A Little Firecracker Has Arrived at Miron Equine Center! On April 17, we welcomed a bold and beautiful filly out of Plain Jayne by Glamorous Nuts.

This spicy young lady is already making her personality known full of attitude, confidence, and sure to keep everyone on their toes.

Congratulations to Lauren Greenwald, a valued supporter of MEC from the very beginning, on this exciting new addition. We’re grateful to be part of her continued journey.

A Story Behind the Foal
Not every arrival is simple and this one reminds us why we do what we do.

Our MEC-bred foal out of Kalarama’s Rich Legacy by Glamorous Nuts entered the world with promise, but within 12 hours we lost his recipient mare, Nsync. Moments like that are never easy.

What followed was a true team effort, round-the-clock care, bottle feeding, and the search for a nurse mare. Within 24 hours, we were fortunate to welcome Miley, who stepped in and accepted him right away.

They found each other and for now, that’s what matters.

A hard beginning, but the start of something worth following.
