Meet the newest member of the Red River Waterfowl team — Cache

Named after the Cache River in Arkansas which provides one of the most important wintering habitats for mallard ducks and other migratory waterfowl.

Special thanks to Cory at for providing us with this spitfire of a pup and making the puppy selection process extremely easy.

Formally registered with the AKC as TTF Glenpatrick Cumhaige of Red River paying homage to his father’s name (OFTW Glenpatrick Romulus of Killieford) and his Scottish and Kansas roots with Cumhaige (pronounced COO-ee) meaning “hound of the plains” in Scottish Gaelic.

We can’t wait to have Cache in the blind with upcoming season.
