This year at Hardrock, we are headed back to Grouse Gulch!

Shifting back to our routes (pun intended), the Animas Forks Aid Station is moving back to the Grouse Gulch Aid Station. This shortens the course by about a half mile, adjusts the distances between aid stations before and after Grouse Gulch slightly, and updates crew movements. Come be a part of Hardrock’s annual food prep extravaganza, where we make from scratch a pile of pumpkin pies, braise beef brisket, simmer soup and much more for this year’s run.

Led by Johanna Bishop, R.D. and Chef Robert Panas, we’ll be cooking up a storm in Greeley on Fri/Sat June 12/13 from at least 8a-4p both days.

Many hands make light work, and we’d love to have some Hardrockers past, present & future join in. No cooking experience required we’ve got something for everyone.

Bill told Chris and Dan that he will be playing this episode specifically on repeat at the Chapman Aid Station, so volunteers, you've been warned. Everyone please welcome onto the show Bill Schum! Bill has been the Volunteer Coordinator at Hardrock for a few years now as well as serving last he Chapman Aid Station Captain, they have duct tape for all your needs! We talk about everything from being and Aid Station Captain through all of the Bill's various roles at Hardrock.
