I forgot to also post this to our page! We had a lively intermediate class this past month! And I’m looking forward to having our beginners join our Beginner 2 / Intermediate class when it’s offered again!

Thanks to everyone who came out for the 3-week progressive beginner class this month! We had a great time and they went from learning the first steps to being able to dance entire songs on their own!

Hi all! Just a quick note about the dances going on this weekend!

West Coast Swing Pros, Tashina Beckmann-King and PJ Turner, are in town for a workshop weekend in Littleton! While their workshops won’t be geared towards beginner dancers, there is still a lot to learn if you choose to go to their classes. There’s also a WCS-only dance on Friday night to accompany the workshops, and there will be lots of dancers of all levels at that dance (Including me!).

Friday:
1.) Country dance at the Pavilion in Silverthorne - Dance lesson at 6pm followed by open dancing (a mixture of two-step, swing, night club two step, and others) until 11pm ($5 cover charge), 400 Blue River Parkway in Silverthorne

2.) Denver Dance Center (5366 S. Bannock St. Lilttleton, CO 80120)
Friday workshop from 7-8pm - Pulses and strokes
Friday Night dance 8pm till late with music by DJ Marsha.

Saturday:

Denver Dance Center (5366 S. Bannock St. Lilttleton, CO 80120)
Workshops with Tashina and PJ:
1pm- 2pm - Connection
2:05 - 3:05 - Ultimate partnership
3:10 - 4:10 - The blueprint to music(phrasing)

It's happening this week!!

Our 3-week West Coast Swing series (beginner and intermediate tracks) begins!

Here are the quick deets-
• All classes are held at the Silverthorne Rec Center
• No experience or partner required
• $40 per person (for the 3 weeks) or $35/pp if you sign up as a pair
• It's a very fun dance, and a great way to meet people, challenge yourself, and learn something new!

Hi All!

Molly, here, saying hello! As Bear and Sophie get ready to move, I've been so grateful for their graciousness in passing their classes and knowledge off to me. I'm so excited to help support and propel the great work y'all are already doing. :)

I'm working to finalize the schedule for our next block of classes in May. So, stay tuned!
