Doxie lover I'm a 50 year old wife, mom of 3 and Mimi to 6. You are stronger than you think!

I'm living with a thyroid autoimune disorder. I'm a Diamond Beachbody Coach who has lost 66 lbs using Team Beachbody Workouts and drinking Shakeology. I've had some set backs since turning 40. Two major surgeries for female related issues 18 months apart, a knee injury and discoving I have an auto immune thyroid disorder. Living with an auto-immune syndrome has many ups and down but I am determine

Fit Tip Friday-
Did you know? Doing intense interval workouts that involve raising the heart rate (above threshold) and then recovering can increase metabolism.
Focus on getting your heart rate up doing intervals and push yourself a little harder!
Good to incorporate it in 3 days a week. It would not be good on back to back day.
Like M,W,F and on T,Th,S do a steady walk. I do have a HIIT treadmill workout I have used.

Big fitness goals are great, but it's the little accomplishments along the way that help keep you going. Set a mini-goal for each workout to keep you motivated and focused.

Make yourself a priority! Don't feel guilty for taking time for "YOU". It's not selfish to make yourself a priority. If you are stressed, mentally exhausted and out of balance, you aren't being fair to yourself or your family. Once you stop putting your own needs last. You'll be a happier person!
