Two weeks ago, I ran a 5K in 22:48.

This morning, I crossed the finish line in 21:23, improving by 1 minute and 24.95 seconds and lowering my pace from 7:21 per mile to 6:53 per mile.

🏆 1st Place Male 30-39
🏃🏿♂️ 6th Overall out of 255 runners

The lesson is simple: consistency compounds. The miles, recovery, hydration, preparation, and discipline all add up.

🏀 The teams still playing have more IPAs (Income Producing Assets)... WRLs (Wealth Reducing Liabilities).

An IPA creates value for the entire team.

A WRL is what happens when a team becomes overly dependent on one person.

The Knicks, Spurs, and Thunder aren't winning because of one superstar.

They're winning because of depth, defense, rebounding, player development, and teammates willing to do the work nobody notices.

That's not just basketball.

That's leadership.

One thing I’ll never take for granted is having my father at my games growing up.

When your dad is your first coach, it teaches you how to block out outside noise, focus on preparation, and trust development over distractions.

That’s why this Knicks run means more than basketball.

The Villanova chemistry between Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, and Mikal Bridges… combined with the structure around Brunson from his father being inside the organization… is a HUGE lesson for business owners about culture and team building.

The loudest people are not always the right people.

Sometimes only the RIGHT people need to believe in you.
