Querido entrenador

Esperábamos que los niños pudieran jugar al menos una temporada de fútbol parcial, pero en este punto esa posibilidad ya no existe. Según la guía del gobernador Hogan, estamos cancelando la temporada de primavera para Takoma Soccer.

Por favor envíe un mensaje a las familias de su equipo. Hágales saber que la temporada está cancelada y que deberían estar atentos a un anuncio oficial de la liga.

Si nuestro mensaje se envía antes de que pueda enviar su mensaje, envíe el suyo de todos modos. En el caso de que nuestro mensaje termine en spam, queremos asegurarnos de que todos sean notificados.

Un par de otras cosas:

TEMPORADA DE OTOÑO: Suponiendo que los cursos estén abiertos, estamos planeando comenzar a jugar el fin de semana del 19 al 20 de septiembre. La inscripción en línea se abrirá en julio. Todas las familias serán notificadas cuando sea el momento de registrarse.

Dear Coach,

We were hoping that kids could play at least a partial soccer season, but at this point that possibility is gone. Based on guidance from Governor Hogan we are canceling the spring season of Takoma Soccer.



Please send a message to the families on your team. Let them know the season is canceled and that they should be on the lookout for an official announcement from the league.

If our message goes out before you have a chance to send your message, please send yours anyway. In case our message ends up in junk mail we want to make sure everyone is notified.



A couple other things:

FALL SEASON – Assuming fields are open, we are planning to start playing the weekend of Sept. 19-20. Online registration will open in July. All families will be notified when it’s time to register.

EQUIPMENT – If you are planning to coach in the fall (and if you have a storage spot), please hang onto your equipment. If not, get in touch with me about returning it – [email protected] If you don’t have any equipment, no worries!

Estimado cliente,

La seguridad y la salud de nuestros clientes y personal es una prioridad para la Administración de Vehículos Motorizados del Departamento de Transporte de Maryland (MDOT MVA). MDOT MVA BRANCHES TO CLOSE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Dear Customer,

The safety and health of our customers and staff is a top priority for Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MDOT MVA). To do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and following health and safety recommendations from State and Federal partners, we are closing our offices effective close of business on Friday, March 20, 2020 until further notice.

Even though we cannot assist you with your transaction in person, there are still many ways to take care of your MDOT MVA business using our eStore, 24-hour kiosk, or VEIP self-service kiosk. If you are eligible, many transactions including driver’s licenses, identification cards, vehicle registration renewals, change of address, insurance compliance payments and information on flag fees are all available online. Please be aware that due to staffing limitations, some services may take longer to process than usual.

For customers unable to take care of transactions online, Governor Hogan has declared a State of Emergency and has issued an Executive Order extending the expiration dates of all driver’s and business licenses, identification cards, permits and registrations that expire or are eligible for renewal beginning Thursday, March 12, 2020. If you are currently holding one of these products, please know it will not expire until the 30th day after the state of emergency has been lifted. Debido a la incertidumbre que rodea a COVID-19 (Coronavirus), por precaución y en consideración al bienestar de todos los jugadores, familias, entrenadores, equipos y clubes, CCL, NSCL, VSL, SCSL y ODSL pospondrá todo juego de la liga con efecto inmediato y hasta el 12 de abril de 2020.
Todos continuaremos jugando la liga el fin de semana del 18 al 19 de abril. Actualmente, cada liga está explorando horarios modificados para obtener la mayor cantidad de partidos durante la temporada de primavera.

March 13, 2020 – The following is an Official Joint Statement from the Club Champions League (CCL), National Capital Soccer League (NCSL), Virginia Soccer League (VSL), Skyline Club Soccer League (SCSL), and Old Dominion Soccer League (ODSL).
Due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), out of an abundance of caution, and in consideration of the well-being of all players, families, coaches, teams, and clubs, the CCL, NSCL, VSL, SCSL and ODSL will postpone all league play effective immediately and through April 12, 2020.
We will all continue league play the weekend of April 18-19. Each league is currently exploring modified schedules to get as many matches in during the Spring season.
We remain committed to protecting our members health and will evaluate conditions daily and will communicate any changes as needed.
We encourage all our members to follow guidance from their clubs, local health departments, local officials, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO).
