Silver Lake is proud to celebrate C.J. Hamilton on his induction into the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame.

As the winningest high school football coach in Kansas history, Coach Hamilton built a legacy of excellence at his alma mater, leading the Eagles to a 447-98 record over 47 seasons. His remarkable career included 39 league titles, 40 playoff appearances, 18 state championship game appearances, and 8 state championships.

More than the wins, Coach Hamilton helped shape generations of Silver Lake student-athletes and left a lasting mark on our school, community, and the proud tradition of Eagle football.

Congratulations, Coach Hamilton, on this incredible and well-deserved honor.

Maclin VanVactor Makes History. 🦅

With a throw of 143’2”, Maclin broke the 8th grade boys javelin school record and is currently ranked #4 in the nation in the 600g javelin.

This moment was built in the early mornings, in the weight room, and through the work Maclin has put in day after day. He earned this.

A huge mark. A huge moment. A name in the record book.
