Ok,,,this is what I came up with. I did a little changes with the pattern. I've been using Alfa wolf bruiser blend for the top material. What I found was that the material would get fooled up around the hook and would be a pain to get it corrected after a catch. So I substituted it for a Arizona dubbing blend and tied in a lat. Line on the center of the hook. Hopefully this will solve the problem and still catch fish.

One thing that I can't stand and hate with a passion.
Is people that over harvest fish when they go fishing. Also the one's that think wow I caught a good one so I have to keep it. With today's technology. A person can today take a picture and have the fish reproduced to preserve the memory.
I'm a huge believer in catch and release. I only keep what I need. I believe in preserving for the future. It's a thrill to catch a big one, yes. It's also a thrill to let it go and know a bigger one just may be around the corner.

Right before sunset, caught 2 of these gills. Both were released. Looking forward to that fall crappie bite.
