Well I'm backing up my next trip to trip to trail creek. I want to give the water there a little more time to cool down. Then maybe the steelie run will have picked up a bit. So I'm planning on the 3rd of Nov providing nothing stands in place of it. Meantime I'll do some more crappie fishing.

The steelie run is still pretty slow. I caught 2,,but both were very small. I did see 2 kings. Both were a pretty good size. I ran across one guy that had a 18 in her(steelhead). While I was there I took this short reel.

I have yet to trim the tail. Make a couple more. Then I'll have a couple back up, just in case it's needed. A lot of timber in the area I plan to fish.

Looking forward to this next trip. It's planned for a Tuesday again. I tied up a pattern called white death. It's suppose to be a good fly for steelhead. I have one done, and of course I'm going to need a back up or two. I'll show a photo of it soon. Mean time,,,tight lines and good luck on your fishing adventures.

Working on plans for my next trip. That steelie bug bit me. I did miss a nice king this last trip, but I rather not talk about the one I missed. Focus more on the ones I do get.

Really nice area we were at. Easy access and a lot of room to move around.

Not a bad trip,,,,I ended up with one nice steelhead. The fish was pretty chrome. So that tells me that they are just starting to move in.
