Facebook wants me to post something, I don't why they need to harass me. I am almost done with all the deer from a very busy season. If anyone would like us to make seasoning mixes for summer sausage or jerky, just let us know and we'll figure up a price on it. We have talked about it for several years and I know a lot of people like to do their own smoking. We haven't offered mixes before because I think it's important to use fresh ground black pepper and to crush the herb leaves right before mixing them into the meat. But if they were custom blended, like how we do it here then they could be picked up freshly vacuum sealed so that your sausage gets those aromatics, instead of them being lost to the air, and you winding up with bland seasonings. You need that bright hit of lemon from the black pepper, it's the little things that make a big difference.
