🏆 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP RECAP 🏆
💙✈️ Jordan Matthews Track & Field ✈️💛

The Jordan Matthews High School Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Team competed today in the NCHSAA 4A Outdoor Track & Field State Championships at North Carolina A&T State University and our athletes did an outstanding job representing Jet Nation on the biggest stage!

🥇 Kamarie Hadley was crowned the NCHSAA 4A Men’s Long Jump STATE CHAMPION with a jump of 22ft 3in! He also placed 3rd in the Men’s Triple Jump with a jump of 43ft 3in. What an incredible day and season for Kamarie!

🔥 Khamya Woods placed 7th in the Women’s 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 48.63. Her performance was a NEW PERSONAL RECORD and NEW SCHOOL RECORD!

👏 Yadiel Zayas finished 11th in the Men’s 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 41.02, which was also a NEW PERSONAL RECORD and NEW SCHOOL RECORD!

💪 Juanita Perez competed in the Women’s Triple Jump and finished 16th in the state with a jump of 29ft 3.5in, also a NEW PERSONAL BEST!

We are extremely proud of these athletes for their hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout the season. Thank you for representing Jordan Matthews with pride all year long!

STATE CHAMPION ALERT 🚨🏆💙💛

Congratulations to Kamarie Hadley on an outstanding performance today as he became the NCHSAA 4A Outdoor Track & Field State Champion in the Men’s Long Jump!

Kamarie jumped 22 feet, 3 inches to bring home the STATE TITLE for Jordan Matthews High School! We are extremely proud of his hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout the entire season.

The Jordan Matthews High School Men’s & Women’s Track & Field team had an outstanding performance this past Friday at the NCHSAA 4A East Regional Track Championships! 💙💛

One of our very own brought home a Regional Championship as Kamarie Hadley was crowned Regional Champion in the Men’s Triple Jump with a 1st place finish! 🥇

Yadiel Zayas also had a huge performance, finishing Regional Runner Up in the Men’s 300 Meter Hurdles with a 2nd place finish! 🥈

The Jets will now send four athletes to compete at the NCHSAA 4A Outdoor Track & Field Championships this Wednesday at North Carolina A&T State University:

🔹 Kamarie Hadley — Men’s Triple Jump
🔹 Yadiel Zayas — Men’s 300 Meter Hurdles
🔹 Juanita Perez — Women’s Triple Jump
🔹 Khamiya Woods — Women’s 300 Meter Hurdles
