Your SK boys had a great day on the lanes, finishing in a close 2nd place as a team! Unfortunately, they fell just short of qualifying for State by 29 pins.

But the excitement isn’t over — congratulations to Wells and Owen Clark, who have officially punched their tickets to STATE! 🎳

Wells and Owen will head to Waterloo next week to bowl for a shot at a State title.

Meet Sophie Young, a junior from Sigourney! Sophie competes in bowling, volleyball & soccer! 🎳🏐⚽️

She decided to join SAAC because once she heard about it, she knew it would be a great way to bring more recognition to bowling while gaining new experiences and meeting new people. 🎳✨

SAAC has helped her find her voice and given her the confidence to share her ideas and goals out loud.

Since her school colors are black and gold, her go-to hype song is Black & Yellow by Wiz Khalifa.

Sophie placed 12th overall at today’s meet! She didn’t qualify for finals, but it’s a big improvement from last year — and that absolutely counts!
