Heartwell Cal Ripken league in LB is hosting a 2 day 7u Machine (J***s) pitch tourney and opening up the tourney to little league and pony all-star teams. July 11-12 at Heartwell Park in LB.
Format will be pool play Saturday single elim bracket sunday.
NO ENTRY FEE, just a box of balls for the tourney.
Farm/6u travel tourney rules. Individual Trophies.
(Only league All-Star or Select teams, no travel teams please)....

Heat 13U trimmed down to 11 players and joined CCYB for the off-season. Stay tuned for game times of upcoming games. Heat defeated So Cal Redbirds at SJB today 11-0 in 7 innings. Game was closer than the score suggests, but the boys played well, pitching was great, defense was solid, and the bats didn't look too shabby after the long layoff.

Drawing to be held on Monday just before our Regional Tournament. Winner will be posted on the Heartwell CRBRL website. Each Raffle tickets is just $2 and you don't need to be present to win. Come on down!!!!!!! We are on the corner of Carson and Palo Verde in Long Beach. All proceeds go to support the 14 Young men repping Southern California Cal Ripken Baseball!!! Regular Season almost done at Heartwell. Heat boys did pretty well I'd say. The MANIMAL David Hays destroyed the competition with 12 HRs with Jacob, Richard and Gio in-tow at 4 each, and the rest of the Heat boys Cuttin' Down Trees. Our OC Boys at NSLL Alex and Taylor Clinched a Mid-Season City Title and also won the CCYB Spring Championship with OC Premiere. Send me your highlights and we'll give everyone their props. Looking forward to Summer Travelball..........After All Stars.

Heat Boys continuing to dominate the league. Heat on Heat this past Saturday as the Indians (Richard, Mikey, Gio) faced off against the Tigers (Salter and McKee). Tight ball game went to the Indians 4-2. On the Hill for the Indians were Mikey and Gio (and future Heat Baller "The Pooch"). While the Tigers closed the game with Salter and McKee. Dodgers (Nick, David, Drew, Petey, Noah) put a pounding on another team and David Hays came away with another Bomb. Another Heat on Heat game just ended this evening as Indians (Richard, Mikey, Gio) faced off against the Giants (Jacob, Bobby, Daniel, Mario). Ballgame was 1-1 from the first inning though 4. After a pitching and defensive standoff the entire game, it finally broke loose in the bottom of the 5th as Indians went up 2-1 and held on in the 6th for the W. Richard and Mikey getting it done for the Indians, while Bobby and Jacob held it down on the mound for the G Men. If you weren't there you missed some GREAT BASEBALL tonight...........and for my other Heat Boys not playing Ripken.......let me know how you're doing.

High Energy game at Heartwell this evening. Indians topped the Dodgers 3-1. Heat boys led the way as Richard and Mikey combined for the W and Nick, David and Drew threw for the Dodgers. No Jacks tonight but both Gio and Nick put the ball off the wall for their respective teams.

Spring Ball is well under way. Come out to Heartwell Park tomorrow night at 3/13 @ 5:00 PM and see two sets of Heat Boys battle it out in the first Heat on Heat game of the year as the Indians (Richard, Mikey, Gio) face off against the Dodgers (David, Drew, Pete, Nick, and Noah). BTW Congrats to the following Heat Ballers who have already gone yard this season. Gio Sandoval, Daniel Mitchell, Mario Romero, Pete Tagle, David Hays, Noah Flores, and Taylor Manning (2). Anybody else.......if so, you haven't been keeping in touch!!!!

Come check us out this weekend Saturday and Sunday at JC Wilmington Field off of Lomita and Figueroa in Wilmington. We'll be playing against teams from throughout Southern California: Artesia Diablos, Pomona Titans, SBHZ Strikers, Westchester Wild, and Beach City Bombers. Game times to be posted later.

The Heat is back on. After a lackluster tournament at the plate, Heat boys knocked all the rust off and put a pounding on the Artesia Diablos pitching this evening. Both teams rotated kids through positions, but without a doubt, the Heat Bats were on FIRE. Aragon and Mohr sent the ball DEEP, while Aguirre and Tagle rifled line drives all over the field. Sandoval, Gutierrez, McKee, and even Lil' Robert from Gardena got into the action all reaching base safely. The tandem of Bobby Aragon, Mario Romero (that's right Mario), and Sean McKee held the Diablos to just a handful of hits and a few runs. McKee closed the game with two shutout innings. Firstbaseman Mikey Gutierrez sealed the deal with a heads up play on a pop up that fell just behind 1B. The "Speedy" Gutierrez saw the batter had stopped so he picked up the ball and raced to the base, ringing up the final out of the game.
