On Deck is now officially CLOSED while we transition to our brand-new home in Huntington Beach! We want to sincerely thank every player, parent, coach, team, and family who supported us throughout the past 18 years.

This facility became much more than batting cages, it became a second home for so many in the baseball and softball community. The memories, relationships, and support over the years are something we will never forget.

While our Long Beach chapter has come to an end, this is far from goodbye. We are excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to continue serving the community in Huntington Beach. We’re working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready for you. Keep an eye on our page for opening dates and details over the coming weeks!

Don’t miss our Home a Piece of On Deck event next Friday the 22nd from noon to 6 pm!

You’ll have the opportunity to take home FREE batting cage netting and turf from the original facility.

We want the same experience for your family that started everything for ours—a backyard batting cage.

We will have professional contractors on-site to safely take down the netting and cut turf sections for you. All you need to bring is a strong crew and a vehicle to haul it home.

A few things to know:
    •    For turf—it is very heavy. You will need to bring a pallet jack and a crew of people to load it into your vehicle.
    •    For netting—still bring help to carry and load it. It’s quite unwieldy without the help of 2-4 people.
    •    Food, music, and good vibes will be there to send things off right. 🌮🎶

✳️ We want as many families as possible to walk away with their own batting cage setup, so we’re limiting it to one netting lane and one lane’s worth of turf per family or group.

If there are any leftover materials at 5:00 PM—whether it’s netting, turf, fencing, or other baseball and softball equipment—we’ll open it up for anyone to take multiples of what’s left.

This is the last event at the Signal Hill facility. We’ve spent 18 years here. Some of you have been with us since the beginning. Some of you discovered us last year.

Either way, you’re part of this story, and we want to see you one more time before we start the next chapter in Huntington Beach.

Come grab a piece of On Deck. Build something in your backyard. Let your kids hit until the streetlights come on…then install some lighting so they keep going till bed time. 😉

Big news On Deck family!

After 18 incredible years at our Signal Hill location, On Deck Batting Cages is moving to Huntington Beach this summer. 🏡

Our new home will be at 7442 Vincent Circle, Huntington Beach, CA 92648.

We know this is a lot to take in. Eighteen years is a long time.
We have watched your toddlers become travel ball players. We have seen your travel ball players become high school varsity starters. We have written recommendation letters and cheered at signing day ceremonies. We have been there for the home runs and for the tears after a tough game.

Some of you were kids when you first walked in and you now bring your kids to our cages.

But, the new facility will give us premium space to grow programs we have been dreaming about for years.

Here is what you need to know right now:

- Last day at Signal Hill: approximately May 25, 2026

- New facility soft opening: approximately June 22, 2026

- Grand Opening celebration: 4th of July weekend 2026

Everything else stays the same. Same ownership. Same family. Same instructors. Same commitment to getting your ballplayer better.

We will be sharing more details about the new space, the timeline, and all the exciting upgrades in the coming weeks.

For now, just know: On Deck is not going anywhere. We are just getting a new address.
