Red Lentil Pasta 🍝

Another one of my favorite dishes that is quick and simple to make. You can always add in any type of protein you want. Did you know one serving of red lentil pasta has 21 grams of protein? If you have never tried it, see for yourself!

Ingredients

Red lentil pasta
Brussel sprouts
Spinach
Onions
Olive oil
Tomatoes
Salt & pepper (optional)
Romano cheese (optional)

Instructions

Using 2 table spoons of olive oil, mix and sauté brussel sprouts and vegetables first. Set aside once it is fully cooked.

Boil red lentil pasta until cooked to your liking.

Rise pasta, then transfer to a bowl.

Add vegetables and mix. Use salt and pepper to add flavor.

Top with Romano cheese (optional)

Berry & Nut Breakfast Bowl

Who loves berries as much as I do? I put together this breakfast bowl that’s loaded with vitamin C, fiber, antioxidants and healthy fats.

Ingredients

Strawberries (chopped)
Blackberries (cut in half)
Almonds (chopped)
Pumpkin Seeds
H**p Seeds
Unsweetened Almond Milk

Instructions

Add strawberries and blackberries to a bowl. Top with the nuts and seeds. Pour the almond milk over top and enjoy!

Healthy salad option

A great mix of healthy protein, carbs and fats that will fill you up.

Ingredients

Spinach (optional)
2 stalks of celery chopped
1 half colored bell pepper chopped
Tomatoes chopped
1 Tbsp feta cheese
1/2 lemon juiced
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/3 cup chick peas
1/2 avocado chopped
1 can of salmon tuna or any choice of tuna

Instructions

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and allow salad to chill. You can add any type of salad. I used chopped spinach and mixed it up.

Are you having trouble growing biceps? Are you wondering why your not seeing the results you want?

The following mistakes are often made while training biceps.

Mistake #1 Stop swinging your weights!

By using momentum and swinging the weight out of the bottom position you are only robbing yourself of the type of powerful contraction it takes to ignite muscle growth.

Mistake #2: The Wrist Curl

When performing curls, no matter the type, make sure to keep the wrists in line with the forearms throughout the entire set.

Mistake #3: Forgetting to Squeeze

Take a moment to flex and squeeze the biceps hard when at the full contraction point of every rep you will create greater blood flow, fire off more muscle fibers, and increase lactic acid burn.

Mistake #4: Not Changing up Bicep Exercises

Use a close, medium or wide grip on a bar. Curl seated, standing, leaning forward, or on an incline of varying degrees. Small tweaks to basic curling movements will recruit unique sets of motor units and shift emphasis between the two biceps heads.

Breakfast quinoa egg white muffins

Ingredients
1 cup egg whites
1 cup spinach chopped
1/2 cup tomatoes chopped
1/2 cup quinoa

Instructions
Cook quinoa first and set aside once it is done.
Chop spinach and tomatoes.
Using a non stick muffin pan, add spinach tomatoes and cooked quinoa.
Start by pouring the liquid egg whites to each muffin pan.
Pre heat oven to 350*
Bake muffins for 15 minutes.
Allow muffins to cool
Top with avocado or salsa (optional)

I can’t tell you how many times I felt like I wanted to give up or even questioned myself. We can be our own worst enemies at times. Here is what helps me when I feel this way.

1. I Surround myself with positive people
2. Read self-help books
3. I tell myself I can do anything
4. Allow myself to accept my flaws but never stop improving.

Breakfast or Post Workout Meal

Loaded sweet potato 🍠
Super simple to make and quick for on the go!

Ingredients
Sweet potato
1/2 avocado
1 cup egg whites

Instructions
Bake sweet potato first. Once it is cooked set aside to cool.
Cook egg whites, make into a scramble and top sweet potato.
Cut avocado into quarter pieces and add to egg whites.

Enjoy!

Low Carb Breakfast Egg White Pizza

Ingredients

1 cup egg whites
1 cup spinach
1 bell pepper
1 Tbsp of feta cheese or vegan
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 half avocado
3/4 cup cherry tomatoes cut into halves

Instructions

Sauté all veggies using 1 Tbsp of olive oil. once cooked set aside
In separate pan add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Add egg whites and cover pan until fully cooked.
Once egg whites are cooked, remove from pan and top with veggies and cheese (optional)

Enjoy!
