Hilda emphasizes strength training, functional training and core related movements that can be transferred from the gym to everyday life. As a motivator and role model, Hilda has a unique connection with each of her clients that stems from her active youth. At the young age of 10, Hilda’s father always encouraged her to take care of herself both mentally and physically. The first time she started weight training, she was in love. “I always new that I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives and if I can help change their thoughts about living a healthier life, then I’ve done my job well.” Although she lifted weights in high school, it wasn’t until she entered an intercollegiate athletics program where she really began to understand the importance of weight training. “I learned a lot about the body and proper body mechanics.”
