The SVSR is looking for volunteers to help at the range, i.e., Range Safety Officers, Match Directors, Assistant Match Directors, and range maintenance assistance.

If you would like to become a Range Safety Officer, contact Chuck Ostrander (520) 366-0360 to sign up for the fall class.

To help with range maintenance, contact Karl Welker (520) 559-3423 or come to range on Thursdays. Maintenance includes painting ramadas, mowing grass, repairing targets, finishing the s***t range, and many other projects. No shooting on Thursdays.

This is the official page for the Sierra Vista Shooting Range (SVSR).

The SVSR is the facility used by the Cochise Gun Club, Sierra Vista Rod & Gun Club, Huachuca Mountain Predator Callers, and Montezuma Muzzleloaders to host their monthly shooting events.

The SVSR also has a public range. Please see Recurring Monthly Schedule for range hours. Fees vary.

Events held at the SVSR include -

SHOTGUN - Trap, s***t and 5-stand
RIFLE - .22 Silhouette, Varmint Match, Civilian Battle Rifle, Steel Pig, Military Bench Rest Rifle, Air Rifle
PISTOL - .22 Silhouette, 3Gun, Defensive Pistol, Military Bench Rest Pistol
SPECIALTY - Junior Rifle Shoot (7-17); Ladies Only Pistol

Gun rentals and ammunition sales are NOT available.
