Buena C**t Wrestlers Bring home 3-State Medals. The Buena C**ts men's wrestling team competed in the AIA state wrestling championship with 8 hopeful C**ts competing at Poston Butte High School. After the qualifying rounds were finished, 3-C**ts advanced to the medal rounds. Junior Isaiah "Illinois" Trujillo at 113 lost his final match against a Canyon View High School opponent by a score of 4-3 taking home a 6th place medal. At 120, Junior Rylkee Kynaston lost a hard fought battle against his Pueblo opponent earning a 6th place medal. Rounding out medals for the C**ts was Sophomore Toafia Fruean at 285 who pinned his Agua Fria High School opponent and earned a 5th place medal. Other C**ts picking up wins and team points were Junior Noah Cummins at 126, Senior Caleb Sieler at 132 and Sophomore Andy Chase at 138. Other C**t wrestlers competing in the state tournament were Junior David Coronado at 145 and Sophomore Skylar Kline at 160. Team Buena finished in 11th place. Coach Dannels praised the C**t wrestlers for their determination and work ethics resulting in an impressive season.

Buena has 8 wrestlers headed to State to represent us!! Very impressive!! Way to go C**ts!

Sectionals start at 9:30 tomorrow morning, Mountain View Marana- If your name was not submitted, you will not be allowed in.

I received all the emails and messages of the parents names- If you did not send me a message or email- your name is not on the list.

Masks required- daily passes will be purchased for $12.00 on an app they will have you download upon arrival.
