We offer creative movement, ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, partnering, contemporary, and musical theater classes to students ages 3 through adult.

Sidney Dance Company is a non-profit, pre-professional, youth dance organization dedicated to providing dance education, performance opportunities, community outreach, and appreciation for the performing arts in Shelby County and throughout the surrounding areas. We are thankful to be part of a community that supports the arts and gives the youth in our area the opportunity to perform on stage.

Come dance with us this summer!

Classes begin NEXT WEEK, but we offer flexible options for the summer as we know families are busy! Payments can be made for full session (8 weeks), half session (4 weeks), or per class! Come when you’re available and get some classes in, between your regular summer activities.

Join us for SUMMER CLASSES!

This summer we are holding dance classes in ballet, pointe, contemporary, acro, and tap! All classes will be held during the day, and fees are structured in full session, half session, and per class options, so you can make the most of your summer hours! Save on tuition by signing up for the whole session, or drop in when you can! It’s easy and convenient. We’re looking forward to seeing you in class!

Just a few of the magical moments captured from last weekend’s Showcase, A Decade of Dance.

These students poured their heart and soul into not only their performances, but all of the days, weeks, and months of training, preparation, work, blood, sweat, and tears to be able to put on a show of this quality. Their efforts were rewarded by the excitement, enthusiasm, and emotional connection of the audiences who enjoyed watching the culmination of an entire season’s worth of dedication and discipline. In addition to all of our current students, we were blessed to have 13 former students and alumni of Sharon’s School of Dance and the join us onstage to present some our favorite dances created over the last 10 years by owner/artistic director, Molly McFarland who also joined in some of the performances.

Here’s to the next decade and beyond! We love sharing our art with the community and hope you’ll continue to enjoy our performances for years to come!

Last night was incredible! So many amazing moments from our 2026 Showcase, A Decade of Dance! These alumni will always have my heart. Some have been away for years, while others have just recently graduated. But they all have one thing in common: they love to dance and they are very good at it. Trust me, I would know. That they took the time out of their busy lives to come back and celebrate a decade of my time with and is a humbling and inspiring experience that I will never forget. It’s one thing to see them at performances. It’s another thing entirely to get to work, sweat, laugh, fall, rehearse, stretch, and DANCE with them again, in the studio and on stage. This has been months in the making and it has been worth every moment.
