Smart Soccer 101 We at Smart Soccer101 create the conditions and environment for players to learn and develop their own IQ - Smart Soccer IQ is a must!

Smart Soccer 101 was created based on the concept of playing Smart, Simple Soccer. In order to correctly demonstrate this skill, players and teams must maintain a good first touch, ability to deliver an accurate pass, hold position, show support when appropriate, and lastly carry the will to win the ball back when loss of possession occurs. We guide players and teams towards perfecting the basic e

lements of the game and guiding them on how to be an impactful player. Training provides exercises that improve players and teams technical, tactical, and confidence on the ball. We also will help develop player game IQ - training to an understanding of what to do in game like situation to help improve quality on and off the ball. SS101 strives to ensure that our player's love and knowledge of the game continue to grow! Pillars of Success:

- Concentrated Growth through Progression Based Sessions. Our sessions are based around the idea of training in progressions, We feel this helps create a positive atmosphere for the player and teams to develop at the proper levels.

- Developing Game IQ. This is crucial in helping each player and team take their game to the next level. We help to educate all involved and understand the why in the game of soccer.

- Well Rounded Athletes. What are players do on the field is just as important as how they carry themselves off the pitch. We hold a higher standard for our athletes and want to ensure they understand the importance being a player in community!

What a journey this season has been. From the first whistle to the final huddle, we’ve watched our players grow—not just in skill, but in confidence, character, and heart.

We’re proud of every goal scored, every challenge faced, and every smile shared. More than a team, we’ve built a family—rooted in hard work, respect, and pure love for the game.

It's a brand new year and registration for Spring Rec is open! Register by 1/27 to take advantage of the early registration fee ($70 for First Kick, $80 for all other programs). Fees increase to $100 per player from 1/28-2/2, when registration closes.⚽

This season's offerings include:
- Our popular First Kick Program for our youngest athletes, born in 2020. First Kick is a 8-week introductory program for our youngest players. The trainer-led sessions will teach players the fundamentals of soccer while building self-confidence and developing motor skills in a FUN environment. Space is limited to 30 players. Each player will receive a HSC First Kick t-shirt. This program will meet on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm.
- Our PeeWee Program for players born in 2018 and 2019. Each age group will train and play games in separate divisions: Friday sessions for 2019 at 5:30pm and 2018 at 6:30pm. Co-ed teams will be formed with volunteer parent coaches. Sessions will be trainer-led with coach support and include 30-40 minutes of training and 20-30 minutes of small-sided (3v3 or 4v4) games.
- Our Micro Boys and Micro Girls Program for players born in 2016 and 2017 will be formed with the combined age groups. Training sessions will be led by Smart Soccer 101 with coach support: Boys on Tuesday night at 5:30pm, Girls on Wednesday night at 6:30pm. Small-sided games (4v4) will be played on Saturday mornings with coaches managing the games: Girls games on Saturday at 9am, Boys games on Saturday at 10am.
- Our Intramural Program for players born in 2014 and 2015. All intramural teams will be coed. Tuesday night training at 6:30pm led by Smart Soccer 101 trainers, with weekend games (both home & away) to be varied between Saturdays and Sundays based on participating clubs and field availability. Games will be played 7v7 with goalkeepers and all the laws of soccer. Parent coaches will manage the games.
