No secrets in Central MA and beyond. This rising sophomore (forward/center) Lily Denomme of Douglas High School is quickly establishing a basketball reputation on the AAU circuit. This past weekend, she literally took over a game against the New Jersey Vols playing with the CMF Varsity West team scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds, 3 deflections, 1 block and 1 steal in 19 minutes leading CMF to 50 - 36 win. Lily is one of many 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade talented girls in the CMF fold. CMF Basketball, there is only one. CMF "Where Details Matter"

I want to congratulate our 10th South and Varsity West teams on their grit, all out hustle, and all-in attitude as both teams played with short rosters and still feature 2 - 1 records in the GymRats Challenge tournament in Albany, NY. CMF has become a major program for serious basketball players. Next stop, is the July Hoop Group HGSL Summer Championship tournament in Spooky Nook, PA. Great job ladies. Addison Sobiech, Addison Sobiech, Addison Sobiech. If you haven't heard of this junior hoopster from Shrewsbury High School, it's understandable. Somehow not well known but is on the radar of growing number of college coaches. What a spring this young lady is having. Her stats are hard to believe. In her last two AAU tournaments, she is averaging over 20 points a game and falling just shy of double-doubles in rebounding. This rising senior won't be unknown next winter and will lead Shrewsbury High on the hardwood. Few players will outwork this 5'9 guard/forward. She is a prime example of success intersecting with player passion and hard work.

CMF although one of the original boys AAU programs in Massachusetts (along with Wildcats, BABC, and a few others), we have only recently dipped back into the waters of boys basketball. With this said, our small number of boy teams are gaining traction throughout the spring.
