I’ve been thinking a lot about what comes next for me professionally.

And honestly, I’m not afraid of not having the answer yet.

I’ve been in this position before.

In 2025, I genuinely had no idea what the next chapter of Black Women in Business Northwest Louisiana was supposed to look like. I even announced that I was stepping away.

Then, after having my baby at the beginning of this year, a completely new model dropped in my spirit.

I followed it.

I didn’t try to force the old model to work. I didn’t spend months trying to resurrect something that had already run its course.

I followed the new vision.

And it has been extremely successful for our community.

Of course, I know there is still more room for growth. We need more participation, more resources and more support to take BWIB NWLA to the level I see for it.

But that experience reminded me that clarity doesn’t always come from sitting down and figuring everything out.

Sometimes the vision comes when you finally stop forcing the old one.

That’s where I am with Write For You Media right now.

I’m working on my MBA. I’m exploring other professional opportunities that could create a different kind of future for my family. I’m looking at my time, my energy, my expertise and the reality of running a business.

And I’m giving myself permission to consider that the next version of my career may look very different from the version I’ve been building for years.

Before I make any major decisions, though, I’m giving Q4 one more serious client roster push.

October–December 2026 may be my last client roster under this model.

Q4 Marketing Ex*****on Support is available for businesses that are ready for strategic marketing, lead generation, content planning and consistent ex*****on.

If you’ve been thinking about working with me, I wouldn’t assume this same opportunity will be available in 2027.

Text/call 318-200-0835.

I’m not creating fake urgency.

I’m simply being honest about where I am and what I’m considering next.

And if my experience with BWIB has taught me anything, it’s that I don’t have to know the entire path.

I just have to be willing to recognize the next step when it becomes clear.

Everybody wants to be seen.
Not everybody is willing to build the strategy that gets them seen for the RIGHT reasons.

And whew… Q4 is making that very clear.

I’m watching businesses and organizations continue to post, promote, announce, and ask for more visibility while putting very little intentional planning behind what they actually want that visibility to DO.

Posting is not a Q4 strategy.

A cute campaign is not a Q4 strategy.

Having someone create graphics for you is not a Q4 strategy.

And hoping people suddenly discover your business because you’re “being consistent” is definitely not a strategy.

Q4 requires you to get clear on:

• What you’re trying to accomplish before the year ends
• WHO you need to reach
• WHAT you need them to do
• Where those people are actually paying attention
• How your digital marketing and real-world presence work together
• What you’re promoting and when
• How you’re generating leads instead of simply generating likes
• How you’re following up with the people who show interest
• What you’re measuring so you know whether the plan is actually working

Because visibility without direction can create activity without results.

And this is exactly why I created my Q4 resources and support.

Not to give you another list of things to post.

To help you think strategically about what you’re doing and why you’re doing it.

If Q4 is important to your business or organization, you still have time to stop winging it and get intentional.

Don’t spend the last quarter of the year looking busy.
Use it to move the needle.

Need help figuring out what your Q4 should actually look like?

Some of the practices that helped our ancestors survive were practices they could not always practice openly.

Plant knowledge. Spiritual traditions. Ritual. Divination. Healing. Ways of understanding the body, the spirit and the world around them.

Over generations, many of those traditions were misunderstood, condemned or pushed into the shadows.

Beatrice Lee is helping create space for people to explore that knowledge differently.

Through Moons & Sage Spiritual Shoppe, she has created more than a place to find herbs, crystals and spiritual supplies. It is a place for learning, readings, Reiki, meditation, tarot, mindfulness, wellness and spiritual exploration.

And that matters in Northwest Louisiana.

Because when something has been stigmatized for generations, simply creating a place where people can ask questions, learn, explore and reconnect is significant.

Now, Beatrice is opening the door to another chapter.

Moons & Sage Spiritual Shoppe is moving into a new location, with its soft opening happening Wednesday, September 16.

And alongside Moons & Sage is Fusion Nutrition, bringing smoothies, energy teas and coffee into the vision, creating an intersection between spiritual and physical wellness.

This isn't about telling anyone what to believe.

It's about recognizing the courage it takes to build something that makes room for traditions, knowledge and practices that have not always been given room to exist openly.

Beatrice Lee is creating that room in Northwest Louisiana.

And that is worth looking out for.

Let’s be honest.

Everybody wants more customers.

Everybody wants more visibility.

Everybody wants to finish the year strong.

But everybody is not willing to invest in the marketing required to make that happen.

And that’s okay.

I’m not looking for everybody.

Look at these handsome boys of mine, chile.

They saw the opportunity in front of them and went after it.

That’s the energy I’m bringing into Q4.

Not chasing every possible customer.

Not posting just to say we posted.

Not throwing random content at the wall and hoping something sticks.

We’re going after the opportunities that make sense.

For Q4, I’m looking to work with established businesses and organizations with:

• Real revenue goals
• Real marketing budgets
• Real offers
• And a real desire to capitalize on the final quarter of 2026

Because Q4 marketing should create opportunities to:

Generate leads.
Convert attention.
Strengthen partnerships.
Launch campaigns.
Increase visibility.
Make more money.

If your business has the capacity to invest $999.99/month into strategic marketing ex*****on from September through December, we should talk.

If you're still trying to figure out whether you're ready to invest in marketing, I’m probably not your person.

No hard feelings.

Where the money reside?

I’m going where the businesses are already making money and are ready to make more.

Q4 isn’t the time to duck opportunities.

It’s time to go after them.

Text or call 318-200-0835 to discuss Q4 Marketing Ex*****on Support.

No ducking around. 🦆

Some women build impact through a single role. Others carry their commitment to service into every space they enter.

Today, we’re highlighting Phelicia Neal, SLPA, CPT, a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant with Caddo Parish Public Schools and a final-year graduate student in the University of South Carolina’s Master’s in Communication Disorders program.

Phelicia’s commitment to serving others extends beyond her professional work. She volunteers and serves with organizations including the Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier, Independence Bowl Foundation, Young Professionals Initiative, and LSU Alumni Association-Caddo-Bossier. She also serves as Assistant Chair of the Junior League Designer Bag Bingo Committee.

Through education, service, and community involvement, Phelicia continues to make a meaningful impact across Northwest Louisiana.

Black Women in Business Northwest Louisiana is proud to highlight women who are using their gifts, careers, and connections to strengthen the communities they call home.

Join us in celebrating Phelicia Neal.

“I’m going to get my marketing together.”

“I need to work on my content.”

“I’m going to launch something for the holidays.”

“I need to start my email list.”

“I’ll do it next week.”

And then suddenly… Q4 is over.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth:

Your competitors aren't necessarily more talented than you.

They may simply be more prepared, more consistent, and already executing the things you keep saying you're going to do.

The businesses that win Q4 won't be the ones with the most ideas.

They'll be the ones who made decisions, built the strategy, started the campaigns, followed up with their audience, and actually executed.

You don't need another month of saying “I'm getting ready.”

You need a plan.

And then you need to move.

If you've been procrastinating on your Q4 marketing, this is your sign to stop watching the quarter pass you by.

Q4 Growth Blueprint Workbook — Build the strategy.

Q4 Growth Blueprint Workshop — Build the plan with your team or organization.

Q4 Marketing Ex*****on Support — Get the strategy, consistency, and ex*****on support to actually follow through.

Because six weeks from now, you can either be looking at the results of what you started…

or explaining why you never did.

Let's build your Q4 strategy.

CHAPTER 39: BECOMING HER.

I almost called this birthday a celebration.

But honestly? It feels more like a declaration.

Because 39 looks different when you’ve lived enough life to know the difference between who you were taught to be, who people needed you to be, and who the hell you actually are.

I’ve built businesses.
I’ve built brands.
I’ve built platforms for women to be seen.
I’ve helped other people find their voice while learning how to use my own a little louder.

And this year, I’m not interested in becoming more palatable.

I’m becoming more intentional.
More honest.
More discerning.
More courageous about what I want.
More protective of what I’m building.

And yes, there’s still a lot I’m figuring out.

That’s the point.

Chapter 39 isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about finally being willing to become her.

So here’s to another year of building, birthing, creating, learning, laughing, crying, pivoting, healing, making money, making mistakes, making moves...

…and doing it my way.

Happy Birthday to The Queen of Digital Marketing.

Chapter 39.
I’m becoming her.
