Congrats to Captain Shreve Men’s Soccer alumni Jose Gomez! 👌🏻👏🏻

Congratulations to Jose Gomez, our Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week! 🏆 The sophomore forward from Shreveport, Louisiana scored the game-winning goal in the 86th minute to complete the Gents' 2-1 comeback win over Huntingdon College on Saturday at Atkins Field. Gomez was assisted on the play by junior midfielder Angel Montoya (Kyle, Texas). It was his second goal of the season, and he's now tied for fifth in the conference in goals.

Way to go, Jose!

Happy homecoming Gators! The boys celebrated the parade in style, and our float came in first place for the Captain Shreve Homecoming Float contest! Shoutout to our lovely moms and dads & booster club that put ALL of this together! Shreve is family!!

What better way to kick off the new school year than with a team pool party! We had a great time hanging out, building team chemistry, and welcoming everyone back.

A special welcome to our new freshmen joining the program, and an even bigger welcome to our newest teammate, Matteo 🇮🇹, who has made the trip from Italy to join the Captain Shreve family! 🇺🇸⚽

The season is right around the corner, and we’re excited for what this group can accomplish together. One team. One family. Up the Gators! 🐊

Congratulations to Coach Francois Browne and the CABOSA/Shreveport United 2012 Boys for being crowned 2026 US Club Soccer NATIONAL CHAMPIONS in Denver, Colorado! 🎉

What an incredible achievement! Coach Francois’s leadership, vision, and dedication have shaped these young athletes into champions; both on and off the field. This championship is a testament to the hard work, commitment, and heart of the players, their families, and Coach Francois himself.

We are so proud to have Coach Francois leading the Captain Shreve Mens Soccer program. His excellence extends from the high school level to the club level, and this National Championship reflects the standard of quality he brings to everything he does.

Here’s to celebrating this special moment and to an even brighter future! Geaux Gators! 🐊

Looking for a fun way to stay active this summer? Join the Shreveport Football Club Summer Camp and sharpen your soccer skills with SFC coaches in a positive, energetic environment!
