Welcome to 777 Athletics, Coach Brooks McMinn! ⚾️

We are excited to announce Coach Brooks McMinn as the Head Coach of our North Louisiana 16U team!

Coach Brooks currently coaches at Benton High School, where he helped lead the Tigers’ varsity team to one of the best offensive seasons in school history in 2025.

Coach Brooks brings a great knowledge of the game and a passion for developing players. We’re excited to have him join our mission of developing high school athletes and creating opportunities for them to gain exposure at the next level.

Welcome to 777 Athletics, Coach Brandon Riley! ⚾️

We are excited to announce Coach Brandon Riley as our CENLA 16U Head Coach and a member of our Roster Personnel staff!

Coach Riley currently serves as an Assistant Coach and First Base Coach at Louisiana Christian University. He brings a wealth of playing experience to our organization after spending six years playing college baseball at Bossier Parish Community College and Texas A&M University–Texarkana.

His experience as both a collegiate player and coach gives him a great understanding of what it takes to develop, compete, and succeed at the next level.

In addition to leading our CENLA 16U team, Coach Riley will play an important role in roster personnel, helping identify, evaluate, and recruit players who fit the culture and standard we are building at 777 Athletics.

We’re excited to have Coach Riley representing 777 Athletics in Central Louisiana and look forward to the impact he will make on our players and organization.

Welcome to 777 Athletics, Coach Noah Gaspard! ⚾️

We are excited to announce Coach Noah Gaspard as our CENLA Director and 18U Head Coach!

Coach Gaspard currently serves as the Recruiting Coordinator and Assistant Baseball Coach at Louisiana Christian University. Along with his experience at the collegiate level, he brings a strong playing background as a former college baseball player and a great understanding of what it takes for athletes to develop and compete at the next level.

Coach Gaspard will play a major role in continuing to grow 777 Athletics throughout Central Louisiana while helping us build a competitive 18U program centered around player development, exposure, relationships, and doing things the right way.

We’re excited about the knowledge, energy, and connections Coach Gaspard brings to our organization and even more excited about the impact he will have on our players.

Colby Merrill | 2027 | Uncommitted

Merrill put together an outstanding all-around performance, getting it done on both sides of the ball. The left-hander tossed a complete game, recording 6 strikeouts while competing in the zone all day. At the plate, he delivered a clutch 2-RBI base hit to help spark the offense.

Leo Peltier | 10U | RHP

Leo has been with 777 Athletics since the beginning, and the progress he’s made has been awesome to watch. Not many 10U players are touching 63 MPH, but Leo has worked hard to get there.

When young players start throwing harder, one of the biggest challenges is learning how to consistently throw strikes. Leo has done a great job of that and has gotten to the point where he can throw the ball hard while still spotting it up.

One thing we always preach at 777 Athletics is: Trust your mechanics and let it rip. Too many young players get caught thinking too much on the mound instead of trusting the work they’ve put in. Our goal is to help them build confidence, attack the zone, and compete.

Proud of Leo and the work he’s put in. The future is bright for this young man!
