Byrd's Overdyke, Young and Saulsbury headline the Shreveport Times All-City volleyball team.

Congratulations to Senior Lola Overdyke, who was selected as a member of the West All-Star Volleyball Team. Fourteen athletes are chosen by by a committee of Coaches from the pool of nominations. Shout out to Senior Avery Young for being selected as an alternate at the outside. This is the first time in program history we have had anyone be selected for these honors.

You can watch Lola play in the All Star game tomorrow on Varsoty Sports Network, or head on down to Baton Rouge to catch the game.

Congratulations Lady Jackets on a great weekend we went 4-1 falling to Slidell last years Division 1 State Champions. We played some great competition over the weekend and we are ready for this week of district play. You can catch us Tuesday at home or Thursday at Parkway.

If you’ve been to a Byrd volleyball game you’ve heard this Byrd Alumn tell those Jackets to “Roll, Jackets, Roll” we love having Mr. Ed at our games and look forward to hearing him cheer on the Lady Jackets. Today he was gifted with his very own personalized shirt to support his girls.
