Paxton’s Gym has been operating in the Shreveport area on 2636 Fulton Street since1972. Paxton, was dedicated to providing a safe place as an outlet for the youth in our area as an alternative to idle time or negative behavior. Coach Paxton desired to give back to the community by providing the facilities and equipment, necessary and provide positive, qualified role models and mentors as well as o

pportunities to compete in sanctioned and Olympic competitions. Many athletes he trained from our area have progressed from the local to regional, national and Olympic levels. The training and experience they receive will influence them throughout their lives. The club promotes self-esteem, dedication, respect for others and good moral conduct.
