Welcome to the Hounds family!

A big welcome to all of the new players and families joining the Shorewood Jr. Hounds! We're so excited to have you as part of our club.

The Hounds are about more than baseball—we're about teamwork, sportsmanship, friendships, and creating a fun and supportive community for our players and families.

We can't wait to see everyone on the field and have an amazing season together!

Hounds End-of-Season Celebration is Thursday!

We're excited to celebrate an incredible season with all of our Hounds families at Helfaer Field!

📍 Arrive between 5:00–5:30 PM
🌮 Chipotle dinner
⚾ Intra-team scrimmages
☀️ Beautiful weather is in the forecast!

Don't forget: Players should bring both red and black jerseys, team caps, and all of their gear (catchers, please bring your equipment).

Please also check the sign-up sheet if you're able to bring an item.

Join the entire Jr. Hounds Baseball family on Thursday, August 6 at Helfaer Field at American Family Field for an unforgettable night of baseball, food, and fun!

U9 & U10 Intra-Team Scrimmage 6:00–8:00 PM
🎶Player introductions + walk-up music for every player!

U11 & U12 Intra-Team Scrimmage 8:30–10:30 PM
🎶 Player introductions + walk-up music for every player!

🌭 Family Cookout: 5:30–8:30 PM
Enjoy a Chipotle buffet with all the fixings at the Helfaer Field pavilion near right field!

IMPORTANT: Please complete the RSVP by TOMORROW Friday, August 1 using the 2026 Hounds Helfaer Sign-Up Sheet. Be sure to:
-RSVP for your family
-Select your player's walk-up song (or indicate if they don't want one)
- Sign up to volunteer or bring an item, if you're able

Your immediate family and children are covered in full. Additional family and friends are welcome to join the tailgate for approximately $10–$15 per person, which includes food and drinks.

Hi Machine Pitch Families!

We hope you’re all having a fantastic summer and enjoying these final exciting games of the machine pitch season!

The Shorewood Junior Hounds—affiliated with Shorewood Little League—is holding tryouts next week for rising 3rd graders for our 2027 9U team!

🗓 When: Wednesday, July 29th | 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
📍 Where: Spector Field
👥 Evaluators: Hounds board members, club coaches, and Shorewood High School coaches.

The Hounds program is a great opportunity for kids who want to take their game to the next level through more competitive play, at an affordable cost, while playing with their friends close to home.

Additional fall practices/scrimmages, indoor winter workouts (starting in Jan), and spring/summer tournament play across SE Wisconsin—all led by experienced parent coaches.

Little League Commitment: Hounds players must also play Shorewood Little League in the spring/summer. Don't worry—we work hard to minimize scheduling conflicts!

Cost: Approx. $600–$1,000 (covers uniforms, programs, and fees). Scholarships are available based on circumstances.

Anyone that is around a looking to watch some baseball this morning should head over to Spector Field! The 10-12 Shorewood All-Stars are taking on Whitefish Bay in the District Championship. Let’s give these kids as much support as we can! First pitch at 10 am.

That’s a wrap on the 2026 Spring/Summer season! What an incredible year for the Shorewood Jr. Hounds!

We can't wait to see what the future holds for this program, and the journey to 2027 is already underway! We'd love to see all players who want to push their skills and play competitive baseball with their friends come and try out for next year’s Hounds team.

Good morning, Hounds Families!

The 2026 season is coming to a close, and our teams have been crushing it—they are a combined 40-32 with MULTIPLE championship appearances!

Here are a few quick, important updates:

2027 Tryouts: Save the date! Wednesday, July 15th, 2026, at Henry Aaron Field (Lincoln Park) for 10U, 11U, and 12U. Times and formal registration coming soon.

Season-Ending Celebration: Thursday, August 6th at Helfaer Field! Free for immediate Hounds families. Expect a cookout, scrimmages (9U/10U at 6 PM, 11U/12U at 8:30 PM), and full walk-up music! Details/sign-ups to follow.
