The City of Shoreline Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department's mission is to provide life-enhancing experiences and promote a healthy community, and to bring our culture to life and transfer it to the next generation. This is achieved through: stewardship of our parks, facilities and open spaces, recreational programs and cultural experiences for all ages and abilities. The system consists of 32 parks, 2 community centers, and 44 pieces of public art throughout the City. Shoreline Teen Center is hosting a Back to School Bash for Middle and High School youth this Saturday at Richmond Highlands Park and Recreation Center!
Free and open to all youth in 6th to 12th grade.
Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Come play volleyball, join a team for our home run derby, and enjoy hot dogs and more from the grill! See you Saturday!

Its our first event of the school year! Hang out with friends and meet new people with our special game of bingo, add to our group art project, and compete with others in your class level against other grades in games and challenges!

Starting September 15th, 2026: FREE Drop-In Art Class! Come create with us! Work on an art project we bring, or bring your own and use the creative space. Draw, paint, write poetry or stories, explore photography and video, or even write a magazine article for Vibrant. Meet new people, share your voice, ideas and opinions, and enjoy a safe space to express yourself.

Vibrant Voices is a FREE drop-in program for youth ages 13–18, every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00–4:50 PM at the Spartan Recreation Center in the Olympic Room.

Mudskippers Outdoor Preschool still has spaces for the Fall session starting this week. There is so much to explore during the Fall months in the forest of Hamlin Park. Our Mudskippers spend their mornings outdoors immersed in nature surrounds by running creeks, fabulous fungi and insects galore!

The Shoreline Teen Center is located at 16554 Fremont Ave N, Shoreline WA, for youth aged middle school to 18 years old. We provide hot food as well as many activities including basketball, pool, ping pong, foosball, video games, and art daily.
