Turns out, we’re better at hitting clays than pheasants, but at least we looked good doing it. Huge thanks to Peaceable Hill Farm for hosting the UVM Shooting Sports team! Great company, amazing views, and a few lucky shots.

Last weekend we went to the Leaf Peepers Shoot at Underhill Rod & Gun Club. We had a great group of returning shooters, new club members, and a few alums. This was a tricky but fun course! We’re excited to get back out there!

Our shooting sports family has suffered a great loss with the passing of Mike Critser. He was instrumental in helping us and other Collegiate team form and grow. We first met him when he was officiating the first Collegiate Steel Match ever in Hartford, Ct. He always had some witty expressions for us and treated all of us as family. From officiating a match or us helping him with the Smith and Wesson Indoor Nationals, we always enjoyed his company.
Thank you Mr. Critser for service to the sport and to your country. We will always remember you.
