Had a great time taking the kids out for Sail4Kids. We went out between rainstorms! The kids loved the super soakers, sailing, the great lunch provided by the Kiwanis Club, and swimming in the pool! Lots of smiles on those cute young faces!

You Just Gotta Love It Depending on What You Covet

Frostbite One almost blew our drawers off
and Two never came off due to freeze and breeze
while Three failed too due to no breeze and calm seas.
But speaking of Calm C's,

she was attacked by an intruder at the dock!
Those racoons can sure do a lot
to mess up a boat and provide a foul smell
that could be likened to A Smell from Hell!

While all of this transpired, Monica and crew
were giving their boat its due
by repairing all that was needed on Moondance(r)
so as better to romance her as all good crews do.

So you just gotta love it
if it's variety that you covet.
We've had it in spades this first of the year
both on and off of our pier!

And we all look forward to the rest of the year
of racing our Ensigns that we hold so dear
and to joining our friends in the competitive fun
of beating, reaching and enjoying the run!

Best to all and looking forward to Frostbites 4, 5, and 6! Chuck
