Does your everyday life bring you joy ....honestly?

Does what you do for a living EXCITE you?!!!

So many people work day in day out just to pay the bills and never reach their full potential of happiness 🤗

I don’t wish anyone to regret never following their dreams or never even knowing what they were.

Perception is projection 👁

Think about it. When you point a finger at someone, there are 3 other fingers pointing right back at you 🤗

When you judge a person, you’re really judging yourself 😱

Those not ready to hear this won’t resonate and that’s okay 👌🏽☺️

Those who have done the inner-work understand how we are all a mirror for one another 🔎

And for that we can be grateful for the lessons we teach each other 🙏🏽

If you are wanting different, you have to be willing to get brutally honest with yourself and make that shift within🌪

It all starts with you 😉

Some people are okay with just being busy not realizing that time is ticking away ⏰💨

My main focus is to grow and be a better me everyday 🙌🏽

Ever wonder why a certain part of your body hurts?

In my early years of childhood, I suffered through some pretty intense traumas from both my parents that caused me to have pain in my neck, shoulders & spine.

Our bodies store those memories.

I’ve always wondered where the pain came from and it wasn’t until I started doing the inner work that I understood it was due to the events that I endured as a little girl.

I have released so much and it’s allowed me to free up tension and stiffness in my body.

My first eye opening evidence of trauma in the body was when I left the relationship with my boyfriend last year.

After only a few days of being away from him did I forget about the pain in my right neck (masculine side)

A few weeks later the pain started to creep back into my awareness and that’s when I remembered that it used to be 10 times worse when I was with him.

If you’re in an unhappy environment and want change but are too afraid to move forward, please know that you’re worth it and deserve to be happy!

It’s not going to be easy but you’ll be so proud of yourself that you stood for you!

You took charge of your life!

You valued yourself enough to initiate change!

You chose your happiness over the happiness of others!

You didn’t let fear keep you from moving forward!

My journey has been far from easy but INCREDIBLE so far and it’ll only continues to get better ☀️🌈

It’s a process and I’m very grateful for all that I’ve learned and experienced 🙏🏽

Happy Indigenous People’s Day 🥁🦅 🖤🤍🤎

While growing up, I hated my middle name Prettyshield because it was so different from what “regular” people had as their middle names.

Now that I’m older I LOVE my middle name❣️

I also understand why my parents chose that middle name for me ☺️

My father told me that they named me Prettyshield after a young Native American girl who was known for being pure and innocent and that they felt it fit me well (even though I wasn’t even born yet) 🥰

When I heard that story, I thought to myself “that’s it, I’m sure there’s so much more to it than they know” 😉

A friend later showed me that there is a medicine woman by the name of Prettyshield and asked if I was named after her. I told him no but the medicine woman role definitely resonated with me and spoke to my heart 🤎🍃🍯

Meditating & Journaling before bed have been so powerful for me with juggling so much in my busy life 🧘🏻‍♀️

Writing down daily successes even as small as “packing lunch” can be so rewarding with seeing how well you take care of your self ❤️

The little things count more than we realize 😉

Writing helps with releasing it from the mind and can prevent it from keeping you up all night 📝

Adding goals and affirmations really helps program the unconscious mind to a more positive and successful mindset while you slumber 💤

Meditating shuts down all those windows you left open on your mental computer and clears the canvas to start fresh for the next day 💻

Meditating also prepares the body for bed with calming your breath & heart rate 🛏

Stretching is another powerful tool to relax the body to prepare it for a restful slumber. It can help with releasing those tight muscles for those that suffer from back pain. Let’s get some oxygen in the body before bed 😴

How often do you check in with yourself❓

Are you consistent⁉️

Financial goals can make slaves of us if we let it..💸💰

Forcing yourself when you know you need a break will only be counterproductive friends 🔋🥊

Taking a day off to intentionally relax & reset will allow more opportunities to flow in 🧘🏻‍♀️💆🏻‍♀️☀️

Awareness is key to developing the greatest relationship with yourself & creating the life you desire 💫💜
