The Shippensburg Community Parks and Recreation Authority (SCPRA) was recently incorporated for the purpose of providing positive, meaningful and quality recreational programs, activities and facilities that will encourage and promote a healthy and growing community. We are an independent Authority that is very much invested in inviting community input to help us create a recreational program that

As the CSL season nears and end for the spring, last night our two teams at the 12u division faced off against one another in a playoff matchup — coming together following the game for a photo opt.

Shippensburg has been represented well by these talented young ladies. Way to go girls!

Shippensburg Town Swing Band will play at 8:00pm.
Live rendition of the National Anthem at 9:15pm.
Firework display starts at 9:30pm.

Bring your blanket and lawn chairs!

Join current Greyhound football player Seth Taylor for a one-day kicking camp at Veterans Stadium.

The event will be held on July 12th for those in grades 4th thru 9th, with instruction on the basic fundamentals related to being a placekicker.

We appreciate what the Boys & Girls Club of Chambersburg and Shippensburg does for the area’s youth — and we’re grateful for the continued partnership and the commitment we share to serve our community.

Summer Fun Fest was a great time today at Memorial Park in Shippensburg — bringing in families, vendors, and fun activities; so thanks to everyone involved for participating!

A big shoutout to Arcadia Clever (Club CEO), Jess Brindle (Club Director of Marketing and Community Relations), Nick Roth (current Club Board Member), and Randy Wilson (past Club Board Member) for their hard work during today’s event — and a special thanks to Shippensburg Mayor Shaun Rogers for stopping by to show support.
