DA XIV LLC is committed to providing affordable and professional dance classes.

Started in 2011, Dance Academy has been working hard to set a standard of excellence in dance to the Franklin and Cumberland County areas. Voted "Best of" in both counties- we strive to provide a well rounded dance experience for children ages 3+ through a wide range of expertly taught classes, nationwide performance opportunities, and a focus on the growth of each individual student. Our goal is

for each dancer to leave class better, stronger, and more encouraged than before. Now also offering Ninja Academy- parkour and martial arts classes, and Acting Academy- acting and musical theater classes for all ages.

A little note to their future selves 🩵

Our Junior competition dancers wrote letters to themselves to open before their first competition of the season. They included goals they want to work toward, compliments to themselves, and most importantly, words that were kind and encouraging.

Because how they speak to themselves matters, too!

We want our dancers walking into competition season believing in themselves, being proud of how far they’ve come, and knowing that their worth has nothing to do with a score or placement 🩵

15 SEASONS OF DAXIV | A Little Piece of Our Story 🩵

Before there were five studios, a lobby, competition teams, hundreds of dancers, and 15 seasons of memories… There was a dream.

In 2011, Miss Amanda took that dream and made it a reality when she opened the doors of Dance Academy XIV.

Our original studio space wasn’t quite finished when she opened, so for the first few months, we danced in a little one-room space. There were just 15 dancers, one room, and a whole lot of excitement and curiosity about what this could become.

And while this little space may look very different from the DAXIV you know today, this is where it all began — diagonally from where we are today!

So, as we celebrate 15 seasons of DAXIV, we want to start where every story should start, at the beginning. Thank you, Miss Amanda, for starting the story. 🩵

Just a reminder that the studio will be closed today, Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

Movement doesn’t have to look a certain way. You don’t have to be the strongest, most flexible, or most experienced person in the room... You just have to show up.

Give yourself the time to move your body, build strength, stretch, breathe, laugh, and reconnect with yourself. The benefits of movement go far beyond what we see on the outside; it’s about how you feel when you leave.

Maybe tonight you need to dance.
Maybe you need to slow down.
Maybe you need to stretch.
Maybe you just need some time that belongs to you.

Whatever your body needs, make time for it. Join us tonight for some of our adult classes:

6:30 PM — Adult Dance Fitness
7:15 PM — Pilates
7:15 PM — Adult Dance
8:00 PM — Yoga

Come as you are. No pressure to be “good.” No expectations. Just some time to move for you 🩵

As we get ready to kick off another amazing year at DAXIV, we want to take some time to introduce you to the incredible teachers who make our studio so special! 🩵

Last but not least, meet Miss Sami! Get to know a little more about her, what she loves about teaching, and a few fun facts you may not know! 👇✨

What I Teach: Tutus & Taps, Tiny Tumblers, Hippity Hoppity, Acro, Competition Team
Favorite Dance Style: Jazz�
Favorite Part About Teaching: Watching my dancers grow into themselves and seeing the confidence dancers gain along the way
When I’m not at the Studio: I’m usually spending time with my family or cuddling my animals�
Favorite Food: Grilled Cheese & Pickles (not together)

Dream Vacation: Costa Rica or Barcelona

Fun Fact About Me (non-dance related): I just got married last weekend!
Fun Fact About Me (dance-related): I participated in the Rockette Summer Intensive in NYC two different times
Advice for My Dancers: You don’t have to dance like anyone else, learn at the same pace, or have the same goals. Work hard, try the scary things, make mistakes, cheer for your friends, and don’t spend so much time worrying about being the “best” that you forget to enjoy being a dancer. The scores, awards, and perfect performances won’t be what you remember most; it’ll be the people, the experiences, and the memories you made along the way.

From some of our tiniest dancers taking their first steps into the studio to seasoned dancers pushing themselves to the next level, Miss Sami gets to be part of so many different dance journeys at DAXIV, and she loves every one of them!

So whether you’re just beginning your DAXIV story or you’ve already spent years growing up inside these walls, work hard, be brave, cheer loudly for the people beside you, and don’t forget to enjoy it. These are the memories you’re going to keep! ✨🩵

What I Teach: Jazz, Competition Team
Favorite dance style: contemporary, but jazz is a really close second
Favorite part of teaching: connecting with the kids and watching them grow as dancers and people
When I’m not at the studio: I’m usually running my coffee trailer that I started this spring
Favorite food: sweet potatoes
Favorite drink: coffee!!
Dream vacation: Italy
Advice for my dancers: enjoy every season, good and not so good; it goes so fast!!

Whether she’s bringing the energy in Jazz or pushing our Competition Team dancers to discover what they’re capable of, Miss Paige wants her students to work hard, keep growing, and remember to actually enjoy where they are right now. Because before you know it, another class, competition, and entire season has flown by!

So soak it all in… the good days, the hard days, the backstage laughs, the breakthroughs, and everything in between. It goes faster than you think, and someday, you’ll wish you could do it all one more time. 🩵✨
