We might have the shop grom of the century. 🤙

Aodhan first showed up at Wave Hog at 11 years old, biking to the shop with his friends for a movie night on a cold February night.

He just kept showing up.

Pulling weeds, joining us on surf trips, learning ding repair alongside me and eventually becoming one of our star instructors.

Now at 20, he just shaped his first board 100% by hand — the Beetle Blaster.

Chris, who has mentored me for years, helped critique the shape and handled the glass work. Pretty cool watching that knowledge get passed down again.

You don’t see as many kids coming up this way anymore.

But this is what surf shops can still be — a place for the next generation to show up, put in the work, learn the craft and keep it going.

Pretty damn stoked to see where this kid goes. 🤙
