So a wonderful friend of ours, Lora Lora Hamilton, had a dream about Rusty’s celebration of life and I want that dream to become a reality. Rusty was always the life of the party and in knowing that we are asking that everyone wear a beautiful color to Rusty’s celebration of life. Rusty does not even own black and hardly ever wore it. He was often colorful and hardly ever matched or color coordinated. So please come dressed in a way that Rusty would have expected.

as many of you know my dad has gained his wings, and is now fishing and hunting up there with the good Lord. he was definitely taken way to soon, and my heart is still heavy and i still can’t believe he’s no longer here with us anymore. all of your sweet prayers, pictures, and memories are all very comforting and helping with the unbearable pain my family and i are going through.

SHINER: Kenneth “Rusty” Tronicek, Jr., 57, passed away suddenly Wednesday, September 7, 2022, while guiding a hunt in Colorado at one of his favorite places, Cotton Mesa Ranch. He was born November 10, 1964, in Shiner to Kenneth and Judy (Greive) Tronicek.

This is probably the hardest post I will ever make. As many already know my family lost the greatest man we have ever known Rusty Tronicek. He was an amazing husband, father, friend, captain, guide and all around good man. He loved hard but he played harder! He was an avid fisherman and hunting guide and probably one of the best at what he did! His joy came from seeing the smiles of his clients (most became more like family) and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
We will inform everyone when services will be as soon as we know something. Please continue to be patient and understanding as this is out of our control. What we do ask is that if you have any photos or videos or any stories you would like to share with us please do so. They can be posted here or sent in messenger. The pics and videos posted so far have been amazing and a comfort for us all.
With so much love to everyone from Shannon, Sarah, Emma, Eli, Brandon Zimmerman and Grady. May the legacy live on thru us all.

2022 was a great year for big snapper!
Thank you to all of our clients who fished with us this summer. We hope you enjoyed your offshore experience and made a ton of memories.
