Breakdown Athletics is a strength & conditioning program that was created to evaluate the physical capacities of an athlete so that they can reach their full potential. It is a systematic approach to training that goes through phases such as maximum force, power, aerobic capacity, aerobic power, and elastic anaerobic power. Congratulations to to Johandiell Gonzalez for finishing first place in both freestyle and Greco beaconing the national champion of Puerto Rico @ 114 #! He set a lot of high goals for himself at the beginning of training with us and this is another huge accomplishment. Extremely proud of him after a few setback and being able to get back on track and earn first place! Now it’s time to put on more size and strength and move up in weight classes. There is so much potential for this young man. Can’t wait to see what’s next.

Johandiell Gonzalez swept day one! 5-0! And is moving up the rankings very quickly. He will finish up round two today and will see where he lands after after today! he could go into the top 10 rankings! Super exciting! The kid is a sponge and soaks up everything he’s taught instantly! To see where he ends up is going to be wild. This is just one of the reason I love working with athletes and pushing them to be better the I ever was. Always pass on your knowledge to the next. I love training athletes and hope I get to keep doing it. So greatful people believe in trust in me to train and mentor their kids to help them be the absolute best they can be. This is one of the things that keep me going. ❤️💯

Happy to announce Tynan Harter is now an official trainer/coach at Breakdown Athletics. A former client for many years decided to turn his passion into his career path and pass on his knowledge to the next generation. He specializes in speed, agility , track and felid, football and basketball as well in general fitness and well being. I am happy to add him to the growing team we are building and looking forward to the future of Breakdown Athletics and helping Pennsylvania be a dominant force in athletics.

Here is my  insight on lifting, weight training, Olympic training,  powerlifting,  sports training, sports Pacific training,,,,, on field coaches and what not. I have never ever gotten hurt from weightlifting. I made sure all my  cornerstones were met, flexibility, endurance, strength, and conditioning.  and does it benefit what I’m training for or does it benefit what my clients are training for any outcome that they want?  sometimes sacrifices have to be made sometimes you wanna lift heavy but you don’t have the flexibility or mobility for that matter so you pull back you focus on other things that’s gonna keep you in the game longer. Sometimes you might be strong as hell, but if you’re only good for a couple of plays or a couple of minutes at a time, you might need to start focus on endurance.  I have always been an athletic performance trainer. I make sure that my people my athletes my clients are set up for success and whatever they are working towards. It’s not a cookie cutter program. It’s not one program fits all it’s a step back what are you good at? What do you need to work on? What should we focus on improving and what do we want new skills to develop from? It’s that simple it doesn’t seem simple to a lot of people. Everyone wants to put the most amount of weight on and then hurt themselves or they only want to do what they’re good at and not focus on what they should be improving on. It goes back as basic as first you should crawl then you should stand then you should walk then you should run then you should climb and then you should build on your strengths and keep building up your weaknesses. Never neglect your weaknesses you working on your weaknesses will make you better than somebody. That’s only working on their strengths. I guarantee you that.❤️❤️❤️

Keep an eye on him. “ Anthony” This monster is on his way to 9th grade I believe I been working with him for a little over a year. And his stats and growth has been amazing. He is a football and wresler for Governor Mifflin. His only desire is to be the best he can be. It’s people like him that drives me to keep training because all he wants is to be better and soaks up all information, Extremly smart and very humble. He has an extrmely bright future. If you get a chance go watch his videos of training camps and his regimen. He is only 13/14 years old and stronger than a lot of their varsity players. This guy is certainly going places. Excited to see what is to come for him.

I have been on the fence for a while for what I wanted to do. I am thinking about doing a relaunch for breakdown athletics and branching out more then what we have in the past. You all know I currently work two full time jobs. And am no longer at the gym all the time like I use to be. What I am looking for is one male trainer, one female trainer. And one sports specific trainer to help me carry the work load. I will still run the business but I need a staff to help run the day to day. Could work it out mutiple ways either by salary or by percentage and you would also have full range of the gym. I would really like to partner with other trainers and skilled professionals and other small gym and facility owners. Carter Leinweber. Easily hitting a 205 # hang clean only weighing in at 140 # he is quickly creeping up to advance status as both an Olympic lifter, and a power lifter but these are just accessories for his main sports that are wresling and lacross.

The ninja assassin, One of my long long term clients left his weight out the other night. Everyone is accountable of their weights, despite their social standings. I made him do 100 push up before his working sets. After he hit 315 for three sets of one. Then 225 for 4 sets of 8. 😉.
I don’t think he will leave his weight out again. 😈
