They just competed and came home with some new hardware!
Val placed 1st in the women’s masters 50-55.
Chris placed 1st in the men’s masters and military masters 50-55.

We all know how hard it can be to get back into a solid fitness routine….at times the thought of all of the work can be anxiety inducing and make it almost impossible to get our wheels in motion! If you’ve been thinking about taking hold of your fitness but something, anything has been holding you back…here are three things you can do today to get the ball rolling..

Commit to a small movement session: Don't feel pressured to jump into an intense workout. Today, commit to just 15-30 minutes of movement. This could be a brisk walk, a bodyweight exercise routine you find online, or even some light yoga stretches. The key is to get your body moving and build confidence.

Plan your next move: Carve out some time in your schedule tomorrow to do another physical activity. This will help establish a routine and make exercise a regular part of your life. Look for a workout buddy or find an online fitness class that fits your interests and schedule.

Fuel your body for movement: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated. Today, focus on having nutritious meals and snacks that will give you energy for your workout. Aim for fruits, vegetables, whole grains lean protein sources.
