Kenna and I are headed to Houghton, Michigan for the Copper Country race with Cor PowerSports Race Series. This is the final race of the season and sounds like it will be a fun race. They have about a 7 foot base of snow and the course is about 8 miles long. Shouldn’t be any mud this weekend but it’s probably going to get a little rough with all of the laps. It has been a fun season and we are really looking forward to this race. Thanks to everyone that supported us this year and helped us make it through the season!

Kenna and I raced in Michigan at the Gogebic Community College Ironwood XC Snowmobile National Championship this weekend. We had a great time on the ski hill, maybe not through the mud section? The course was pretty rough and the down hills were choppy. Kenna did great with a P1 in Women’s on Saturday and P2 on Sunday. She also placed 6th in Sport improved Stock on Sunday but had a DNF on Saturday in that class due to a broken gear. We were lucky though and the damage was minimal. I didn’t place well but the sled worked great and I had a lot of fun. The sleds fast but I am not motivated enough! Oh well, it was fun getting my adrenaline fix.
Next week is the season finale and banquet in Houghton Michigan at the Copper Country 100. A 7-1/2 mile course and they have a 7’ deep base so I think it will be rough.

Last weekend we were at the Naytahwaush Nightriders Snowmobile Club Snodeo 200. It was warm as usual which made for some great viewing. Both Kenna and Taylor had a good weekend. Kenna ended day one with a 2nd in Sport Improved stock in a class of 18 riders and 3rd in Women’s by 17 seconds. Taylor came in 4th in Women’s for the day. On Sunday we made some adjustments and Kenna won the Women’s heat but was around 5 seconds short of taking the overall and ended up P2 o really. Taylor had similar results. She had a good run and was also 5 seconds short of the podium and finished P4.

Next weekend we head out to Michigan for the Gogebic Community College Ironwood XC Snowmobile National Championship. We enjoy that race and look forward to getting back out there. Taylor will be heading off to a Volleyball tournament with the ND Elite team.

Next round is this weekend.

The 56th annual Snodeo 200 is this weekend!!!

This past weekend was Round 5 of the 2026 Cor PowerSports Race Series, and we saw some great racing on Leech Lake in front of Trappers Landing resort!! Race results and Speedhive results have been posted. Links are on the Race Results page of the Cor PowerSports Race Series website.

What a weekend! We went to the Cor PowerSports Race Series race in Walker MN on Leech lake this weekend. It’s been a long battle to get back to the top of the podium and Kenna pulled it off this weekend! She had a great run and we made some adjustments this weekend and her Polaris was flying! Thank to the Brown family for helping us get dialed in. I am hoping that we learned a few things to halo us at the race next weekend in Naytahwaush at the Naytahwaush Nightriders Snowmobile Club race.
