Out at Little Rock Christian Academy this summer.

We aerated and topdressed both the baseball and softball fields, working close to 100 tons of sand into the grass between the two. Aeration opens up the soil and relieves the compaction that builds up over a season. The sand works down into those holes, smooths out the surface, and helps the field drain and stay firm.

Credit where it's due. These guys do a phenomenal job with their fields, and it shows. Our part is just helping keep them that way.

Another one from this spring. Crawford Field in Stuttgart.

This was once the home field for Stuttgart High School. Over the years it fell into disrepair and ended up for sale. A group of local businessmen bought it with the goal of bringing it back to life and putting it back to use for the community.

Back in May we came in and cut a new skinned infield into what had become an all-grass field. We cut the edges, brought in fresh infield mix, and graded it so it drains and plays the way it should. Swipe through for the before and after.

It's a good thing to see a field like this get a second life instead of sitting empty. Glad we could be part of it.

Prescott High School, back in August.

We aerated and topdressed the football field, the baseball field, and the softball field ahead of the fall season. Aeration relieves a season's worth of compaction and gets air and water back down to the roots. The sand fills those holes, smooths the surface, and keeps the field draining the way it should.

The football field at Prescott is one of the finest natural grass fields in the state. That doesn't happen by accident. It takes a program and people who stay on top of it, and we're glad to be a part of keeping it that way.

Catching up on some work from this spring. Back in March we did a full infield renovation for Future Cardinal Diamond Sports.

The infield had been played on for years. Thin, worn turf, bare spots around the bases, and no real edge to the diamond. We stripped the old grass, cut in a clean edge, brought in fresh infield mix, and graded it smooth so it drains right and plays true.

Swipe through for the before and after. A good infield starts with the right base and a proper grade, and this one is ready for its next chapter.
