Spent some time out at Little Rock Air Force Base today looking at ways to improve the softball fields for the upcoming season.

A lot goes into getting a field ready for play. Proper grading, drainage, surface conditions, and long-term maintenance all make a difference.

Rain has a way of exposing field problems fast! These before and after photos are from a project we completed in Arkadelphia on one of four youth fields. Before the work, the infield was holding a ton of water after rain. After grading and drainage improvements, the field handled over 2 inches of rain with no standing water left the next morning.

A good field starts with proper drainage and surface grading. 💪
