Come out and enjoy a local 5K / Fun Run that supports SFO's first travel soccer team.

The events will be 5/16.
--5K Run/Walk will be at 8:00am and is $30.
--1 Mile Kids Run will be at 9:30am and is $20.

Both events will be held at Sherrills Ford Optimist Park located at 1752 Mollys Backbone Rd, Sherrills Ford, NC 28673.

Make sure you register by 5/2 to guarantee you get a t-shirt!

Registrations for summer, camp, and fall sports are now open! Football, Soccer, Cheer, Soccer Camp, Adult Softball, and Fall Softball are all officially open. Fall Volleyball and Baseball will open soon.

Sherrills Ford Optimist Club Adult Softball is launching another season, and we could not be more excited! After an incredible first season filled with competition, laughs, and community, we’re bringing it all back—bigger and better.

This is your chance to get outside, meet new people, and be part of something fun right here in our community. Whether you’re in it to win it or just want a good time with great people, this league is for YOU.

Here’s what you need to know:

Teams can have up to 18 players
You must have at least 3 women on the field at all times
Uniforms are NOT included this year. You can provide your own or we can send details of where we ordered last season!
discounted rates when registering as a team!
You can join individually and we will have a Team Draft Day on May 9th!
