Opening day will be Saturday, September 19! We have lots of great things planned and even a few new additions! We can’t wait to see everyone in a few weeks! We will likely have mum pre-sale before opening day, so keep an eye on our page for info.

Flowers and butterflies! Don’t forget we still have lots of flowers ready for cutting! Self serve, buckets of water and clippers in back by the flowers, help your self. There are lots of zinnias and cosmos , a few snapdragons and dahlias in the back. On the sides of the house and in the front yard you can find purple cone flower, black eyed susans, hydrangeas and autumn joy sedum. While you’re here, we guarantee you will get to enjoy butterflies in motion and lots of other pollinators!

We’ve got tons of monarch caterpillars enjoying the new pocket prairie we planted this spring as part of Dubuque County’s “mowing to monarchs” program!

Thanks to everyone who came out for self serve flowers today! We will be open for self serve flowers daily, now through the end of September, come out anytime!

It’s flower time!

Our flowers aren’t quite what we had hoped for this year, as we got off to a very late start. However, we do have some stuff starting to bloom!

Right now we have lots of zinnias and cosmos. There’s also black eyed Susan’s, purple cone flower, queen Ann’s lace and Russian sage showing off right now! The zinnias and cosmos are in the traditional rows in the field behind the house, the rest are scattered around the property. You are welcome to cut flowers from anywhere on the property, including the front of the house and sides of house.

In a few more weeks we should have sunflowers and dahlias blooming also!

Starting tomorrow (Saturday morning), I will place buckets and clippers out by the flower rows. $20 bucket / $10 cup. Self-serve: cash, Venmo or Cash App. Come anytime, dawn to dusk

Hi everyone! We are looking forward to another great year! Mike is working on a new building, which will be a general store. That is keeping him busy this summer. Our flowers are starting to grow- expect you pick starting late July!

So far we have lots of great food trucks lined up for Sunday afternoons this fall, but we are still looking for a food vendor for Sunday, October 18. If anyone has suggestions / requests of a food vendor for this date we would love to hear from you! UPDATE- the date is now filled with Bad Ash BBQ, so we will be lucky enough to have him here for 2 Sundays this fall! YUM!
