Open Mat was on fire. The sun was out, the doors were open, and the work was real. Every single person in that room leveled up. No shortcuts. No excuses. Just rounds, sweat, and growth. 💥🔥

Big thanks to the crew from Aztec Boxing for coming down for some cross training . Iron sharpens iron — and there were got some talented guys in the gym today.

🔥 The fearsome Jaguar Warriors of the Aztecs. 🇲🇽 🐆🔥 The Jaguar Warriors, or Ocēl ōpilli, were elite fighters in the powerful Aztec Empire.

Unlike the Eagle Warriors, who came from nobility, the Jaguar Warriors rose through the ranks of the lower class through sheer skill and bravery. 🏹⚔️🇲🇽

🌿 Who were they..?
🔹 Special Forces of the Aztec military.
🔹 Trained to capture enemies alive rather than killing them.
🔹 Had to capture 12 enemies (6 per campaign) to earn their warrior status.
🔹 They symbolized darkness and strength in Aztec mythology, while the Eagle Warriors represented light.
🔹 They wore jaguar skins, painted their bodies, and used macuahuitls (obsidian-edged clovers) in battle.

These warriors fought fiercely against the Spanish conquistadors, defending their homeland until the fall of Tenochtitlán in 1521.
