I hope everybody had as much fun this week as I did. When we have a great group of buddies to go with a great group of players, magical nights happen. Thank you to the SYSA teams that came to our support. The SYSA teams will be our buddies again this week.

Our last week (5/16) will be students from Parker Elementary helping us out. The last night is also trophy night and trophy presentations DO NOT get rained out! Please come and get your trophy.

The weather couldn’t stop the season opener of our 30th year! Huge thanks to the Sherman Bearcat baseball & Lady Cat softball teams for making this such a fun game.

Tomorrow kicks off our 30th season of Audra’s Allstars!

Coach Paul will be at Old Settlers at 5:15 to pass out uniforms then the game will start at 6. Our buddies will be the Sherman Bearcat baseball team. Can’t wait to see you all!

In September of 1995 I was on the Little League Board Of Directors (as it was known way back then), The president at the time was Greg Estes. Greg had been approached by Gail Utter about a league in Plano for special needs players. Darlene Bernard, John (sorry I forgotten his last name I think it was Hurt) and myself formed a committee and checked it out. We thought it might work and so we tried it. We started that next season with 16 players and we played on field 1 at Old Settlers Park. Darlene ran the games the first two years. I took over after that and have blessed to do it ever since.

The name came about because we called ourselves The Challenger League but we were no longer associated with The Little League organization. Myself, overthinking everything, was worried about a trademark infringement so I was looking for a new name. Audra Robison was one of our players. She was in a wheelchair but that didn't stop her spirit. She was very feisty and let me know when I messed up. She played with us two or three years and one night she died in her sleep. So, I named the team "Audra's All Stars". I would say for the last fifteen or so years we have been independent with our buddies coming from many different sources.

Other than moving to Field 8 when the new complex was built, we have pretty much stayed the same for thirty years. There is no way I can name or thank all the people that have made this possible. As you all know if you've been with us a while WE CAN'T PLAY WITHOUT THE BUDDIES!

I hope this our 30th season will be one that you and your family can enjoy.

Our 30th season is just two weeks away on April 11th! We will be playing at Old Settlers Park, Field 8, 6:00 pm.

Anyone knowing someone who would like to participate it's not too late, just give them my email and they're in.

We’re getting closer Allstars!

We will begin our season on April 11th with The Sherman Bearcats as our buddies.

April 18th The Denison Yellow Jacket Softball players will help us out.

April 25th The Boy Scouts are our helpers.

May 2nd and 9th SYSA will provide teams for our benefit.

May 16th Priscella's kids will help us with our game and trophy presentations.

All games will be at Old Settlers Park @ 6:00 pm. Please get signed up if you're not already.

Our 30th season will start in just a few weeks! With Easter being on April 5th, we will kick off our season April 11th @ 6:00 pm at Old Settler's Park.
